Wendy's — Restaurant in Lakeland

Stopped for lunch with the family en route home. Tried taking advantage of the 99 cent single by ordering on the app. Could not get it to work correctly. Went inside to see if a manager was available to help. Ashley, the manager on duty was more than patient and helpful as she tried to assist me with the issues I was having. We never got it to work but she saw the problem.

The restaurant was extremely busy and I knew she was falling behind as she helped me, but she never showed the tiniest of anger or impatience. This is EXACTLY what customer service should be!! In today’s world, courtesy and patience seem to be a lost art. Ashley could teach a class on it!!

I wanted to make sure this restaurant knows what a gem they have working there.

My father and I went to this Wendy's tonight. There was like maybe 5 cars ahead of us but the line was moving very fast unlike at dare i say it... Mcdonalds. Anyway we order 1 Baconator with only ketchup and mustard, 6 piece nuggets with ketchup and medium fries. Dad says i'll do the same. So I order only mustard on his and another 6 piece and medium fries. We also asked for the fries to be cooked just a tad more because they are nomally soft. She said no problem, i'll make them well done. Great. We pull up very quickly, pay, get food and check it after we pull off. We hate making people wait behind us when our food is in hand. They are lucky to even get one star! I ordered 2 junior bacon cheeseburgers and ate both of them as I was coming on my last bite of the last one I noticed the meat was still a little pink so i could only hope the whole sandwich wasn't like that... Well I'm thinking it was. I had to go to my cousins funeral that day and couldn't even sit through it, I was puking my guts up... Had the chills and broke out in a fever... Food poisoning is what I had all thanks to this Wendy's. Btw it was the only thing I had eaten that day so I know it was from them! Causing me to miss work also! HORRIBLE...
