After searching “Bar near me” on Google Maps and exploring Ten Mile Lake, I stopped by this place for a beer. While I was drinking, I ended up chatting with a guest at the next table who turned out to be the county campground manager. The food being served looked delicious, so I decided to order—and the burger and French fries were excellent. They mentioned that they don’t keep the fryer running constantly, but instead heat it up fresh when an order comes in, which probably explains the clean, crisp flavor. Too much mayo, ketchup, and mustard on the burgers, which made them very sloppy/wet to eat. Fries were typical food service quality, nothing special. Walked in, sat down and waited. No one came with menus, so finally went to bar to inquire. Was told had to order at the bar and menu was on a chalkboard. Felt we were bothering wait staff when we ordered. Very stale odor in bar....
