I rarely have high expectations for a food truck, but the Indian Flames was a pleasant surprise. I was pressed for time and needed to grab a quick bite to eat. I took a chance on this place and don’t regret it one bit.
I had the vegetable samosas and lamb biryani with a mango lassi. The staff were super pleasant and friendly. But the food blew me away. I asked for spicy — and the biryani did not disappoint one bit. Absolutely delicious and authentic. Everything tasted fresh and scratch-made. The complimentary sauces were even original.
I’ve read some complaints about the lassi, and, yes, they are small and tasted a bit unusual. It was probably the only knock on what was a terrific experience.
Also, people complained about the wait. While I personally felt like the food was worth the wait, I was in a bit of a hurry so the wait time wasn’t super convenient. But once I took a bite of the food I realized why. Great food doesn’t come fast. My advice: if you’re in a hurry, order ahead. I saw quite a few people who had the good sense to order in advance.
I will not only be going back, I plan on spreading the word. The Indian...
Read moreI’m obsessed with the food. For first timers I recommend the appetizer samosa, entree chicken or paneer tikka masala with garlic naan, and a mango lassi for the drink. My current favorite is the DOSA which is sometimes hard to find. My partner is VEGETARIAN and he has many options here. He usually goes for the hottest spice level. Goes from mild to Indian hot. I go to this food truck at least once a week and have always had a great experience! And I like things a certain way! They are consistent, down to their food packaging. They are patient and kind, even when I was first figuring out the menu. Great people at the window, a young man usually helps me but today Suchai did and he was just as great! I will continue to eat here. One more thing, order ahead if you want something for a lunch break. I’m okay with waiting, it’s so worth it! Thanks Flamin Indian for always being so kind! We once went there on the day they were closed (oops!) but they were there working on the truck and they offered to cook us something. We did not take the offer (to not disturb them) but we really appreciated the lengths they were willing to go to...

Located in a charming area with plenty of parking options, this spot is a must-visit for food lovers. What makes this place stand out is not only the incredible food but also their ability to accommodate different spice preferences. As someone who doesn’t do spicy food, I was thrilled to see they could tailor the dishes to my liking without sacrificing flavor.
For a standout experience, I highly recommend the Rogan Josh paired with the soft, pillowy butter naan – an absolutely perfect combo. Don’t forget to wash it down with a refreshing mango lassi! The flavors are rich, aromatic, and well-balanced.
The service was exceptional – the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.
