We visit Tott's at least every few months. It's usually a five star but I think they're still getting back on their feet from the hard times caused by the pandemic. The restaurant was cold, and the dining room wasn't completely back to normal. We tried an appetizer that’s new to the menu – Golden Eggplant (sliced Asian eggplant deep fried. Served with peanut sauce.) It was very doughy and soggy, and I didn’t care for the peanut sauce. We should’ve stuck to the crispy spring rolls which are always good. We couldn't decide between Sesame chicken or Sesame shrimp, so we ordered both! I think the shrimp version is better. One plate was ordered with the brown rice option and the other the fried rice option. Both rice were very good. Both plates come with a mixture of Bok choy, broccoli, zucchini, celery and carrot vegetables. I think you can order the heat level as you wish and we forgot so the default is no heat. I added Sriracha to get some heat. The hot green tea was very hot and tasty. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff is friendly.

We ordered several dishes for delivery from Golden Leaf. Overall it was satisfactory however nothing really stood out to me as particularly delicious or memorable. We ordered via Ubereats and it was 30 minutes later than expected. I am not sure if thats the restaurants fault or delivery service so I wont knock them too hard for that. Their spring rolls were below average in my opinion- the filling was purely mushy lettuce and there just wasn’t a lot of flavor or appetizing texture. Their fried rice was cooked well and was decent though it didn’t really captivate me and lacked that umph that sometimes makes me hunger for seconds. Their General Tsos chicken was flavorful and well cooked and probably the best dish of the night. Their Lo Mein was average - the beef was okay and the noodles were a tad dry with a sauce that added a nice salty taste and could have been more present. Each main was over 15 dollars which I believe is overpriced for what we received. I honestly would look elsewhere in the Lakewood area for quality Asian cuisine.

2021 edit: I am so glad they survived the COVID lockdowns. This is a GEM and must be supported. To me, TOTT is the epitome of a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Amazing food, quick, attentive service, great prices. In all of my travels, this is my gold standard of local restaurants. I rarely find one as good, fast and quality as TOTT. It's still on my phone, and still the first place I want to eat at when I return to the Denver area. Top notch! _______________ I have eaten here almost once a paycheck for over 12 years. Outstanding food, and ultra-quick service. This is a true hidden treasure. Try it! But beware if you drink any water, they will fill your glass in seconds! For takeout, I have them on speed dial. I call them from the office parking lot, and it is bagged and ready when I get there 10 minutes later.

I had heard good things about this place and was anticipating trying their food and delivery service. We used the online ordering from their website where we were instructed to pay and the wait would be 45-60 min. After 60 min I callled and asked for an update, they confirmed that they had my order, explained that they were busy, apologized and told me the food will arrive in 10 to 25 min. After 30 min I called to cancel the order, they asked If I used grubhub to get the delivery order and I again explained that I used their website. They again apologized and offered me free crab rangoon with no ETA when I can expect food to be delivered as their website states that they provide this service. I asked to cancel the order as polightly as possible being a little hangry at this point. They refused and stated that they cant cancel the order, I explained that they charged the card, they can cancel the order and they need to do that as the situation was unacceptable again they refused, I diconnected the call as they would not try to make ammends, make good or talk out the situation. To this time I have still never recieved my order. After further research on the TOTT website it appears they themselves are using some 3rd party delivery service coordination company with a new york phone #, I called this # and explained that I wanted to cancel, they also refused, I explained that they can cancel the order or they can deal with the banks. At this point they stated they were sorry and would cancel the order. I have worked in asian cuisine and food delivery business for large portions of my life and completely dis-satisfied with the non-sense that I have gone through to not even get food, would have preferred to write a review of their food but since I never recieved it its...

How this place got such overall high ratings is beyond me. I'll start with the good.

THE GOOD: $1.00 hot sake

THE BAD: Food: If you are looking for poor to fair Chinese food with Thai and Vietnamese names, look no further. The drunken noodles were oily/greasy and tasted like lo mein. When I asked for the noodles to be extra spicy, the waitress asked me if I was absolutely sure...and then suggested I put sriracha sauce on when the dish came out if it wasn't spicy enough for me. Well, I got my extra spicy drunken noodles...they had about as much kick as Grey Poupon. So I had to use the sriracha sauce.

Decor: Great...if you like eating in a place that has a Miami Vice/Asian/strip mall office feel.

Service: The waitstaff were amenable but not overly friendly or helpful. The questioning of my spice level. I had a hard time deciding between poor/fair and good on this because the service was quick, yet not rough, but not truly welcoming.

I'm well traveled, having been all around the world and tasted both good and bad Asian food. This was the first and the last time I will give TOTT Asian Grill my business. Even if you want poor tasting food without much flavor or kick, I'll try somewhere new.

The better bet is to go to Star Thai, US Thai or any Asian place along Federal Boulevard,...

Unfortunately this establishment let me down in the worst of ways. I wanted to celebrate an spend some time with my mother. Who really enjoys asain food and was super excited for this small event. Bought around $50 worth of food it arrived in a timely fashion looked decent but when my mother opened the dipping sauce for egg rolls she said ew gross went over to investigate what she was upset about a grab the suase gave it a sniff and it was beyond spoiled I almost couldn't handle it and been feeling nausea ever since this review is being made the same night btw. Didn't know what to do mom not doing best I couldn't trust any of what we had got the address but on my way I forgot my battery to my cellphone was low and it died in route. I drive back to my mother's house with a big Mac an a shake cause that's all I could afford after the food purchase. I give the store a call to inform them that something was wrong with the sauce for sure. To just make it all worse they tried playing it off as that was normal smell litterly just insulting my intelligence it was very disheartening with zero concerns about it. No refunds offered nor did I ask. Just wanted to do something nice and McDonald's was what I could offer thanks...
