Addenbrooke is my favorite park in Lakewood. People can ride, skate, walk, walk their dogs and run on the extensive sidewalk that goes around the entire park.
During soccer and baseball season, there are a couple fields for each. People go there to fly kites.
You can get guided workouts or workout on their equipment on your own.
There is a pond where you can watch the geese and a playground for the kids.
There are canopies above picnic tables and grills for birthday parties or family gatherings.
The park even has a horse trail.
The most charming place in the park is an area where a small house used to be. You can see the original fire place. They added mirrors and astroturf for an artistic touch.

Needs a lot more seating, only one table bench under a roof near the toilets so it’s pretty much always being used and there is no sign up sheets so it’s first come first served and sometimes there are large parties with decorations. One more bench next to it but it isn’t covered so rain and sun really makes it unusable a lot of the time. Lots of seating near the playground but beware of the kids and geese lol. If you want a more private/quiet space you just have to be lucky. Nice restrooms although it looks like there used to be soap dispensers that got taken out that would really be useful since the portolets usually have the hand sanitizer...

Good for a walkabout, great place for dogs to walk, run, and play, generally pretty clean except during peak goose season (which can be said of most open spaces with bodies of water lol). Aesthetically pleasing as well, they did a good job with the water and land spaces, incorporating trees and naturally growing flora, and designing the walking spaces to give you options for length of walk and exposure to these...
