I just visited your Jack in the Box off of exit 125 on Bridgeport Way Sw. It is constantly the slowest, lowest quality location in the area. I’ve been avoiding going there for months, but my son asked for a milkshake, and Google maps routed me there without me realizing what location it was taking me to (I would’ve gone elsewhere had I realized).
What was supposed to be a 5 minute detour turned into 20 minutes of frustration. When we arrived there was already a car in the drive thru. After awhile they finally pulled forward, and they took our order. We pulled behind the car, and started a whole new waiting process.
Eventually, then got their order and left. We pulled up, and the cashier quickly muttered what sounded like 13-something, and swiped my card. I wouldn’t be able to tell you if that amount was close, because she didn’t offer a total when I first ordered. Turns out that she had actually muttered 30-something, and she was charging me for the order behind me in line. I only realized this, because she confirmed the 2x meal order (after she charged my card).
I told her that wasn’t my order, and that I only had two milkshakes. Flustered, she apologized and proceeded to figure out how to work the refund. A few minutes later she finally opened the window and worked the refund. After doing the chargeback, instead of just handing me a receipt with the refund she simply held the receipt and asked, “do you want to take a picture?”
She then re-did the order for the shakes and swiped my card (for the third time). I got my card and milkshakes back, but no receipts of any kind.
The worst part of all this is when I told my wife about what happened (and where), she wasn’t surprised in the slightest. Unbeknownst to me, she had left a bad review a few weeks prior. She had been waiting in the drive thru for twenty minutes, but drove away when the line hadn’t moved at all.
I think the Jack in the Box restaurants are great, and prior to moving here, I listed it as my favorite. But the bad quality of food and service across the area are just too much. Read moreThis place is absolutely horrific. The last three times I was there I didn't get anything because there. Machines were rebooting. And the very last time was last night. I did an online order. And I drove to the store. Where I sat for 15 minutes waiting. To make sure that the order was finished. All the lights were on and there was a bread truck. They're unloading. I pull around to the speaker and there is a big sign on it that says. They don't have a cook. So they're sorry but they're closed. This isn't the first time I've encountered this stuff with this. Place so I called the store and I talked to the gentleman who answered the phone. Who was very apologetic? And said that he couldn't help me. And I said, well I would like my money back and he said no. So the next day I called and spoke with manager. And she refused to get my money back. She said that she couldn't do that because they didn't get the money through the app. The most she could do. Is make the food for me? I did not want the Food at this point in time. I want my money. So Ask her for corporates number and she put me on hold. For quite a while, so I hung up and I googled it. And I got a hold of a very kind gentleman. Who was absolutely appalled By their behavior and that the store was even closed. As well as the managers way of handling the situation. Within 10 seconds that man had my transaction pulled up...
Read moreThis happened a couple nights ago about 1am i had just ended a 12 hr shift and i was starving.. Im hearing impaired and nobody was in drive thru line so i pulled forward so i could show the worker my order i had written down... usually i go online but my internet has been having issues... not just that but the app never works as it should... she waited and took 2 orders for people that pulled up after me. Opened the window and just kinda laughed and said im not taking your order you have to go to the back of the line. We dont take orders if you dont order thru the speaker like everybody else. I tried handing her the piece of paper with my meal on it and she wouldnt take it.. again pointed to the speaker system... very rude... very inconsiderate of the hearing impaired.. her family should be ashamed of her for being so heartless... u would be much better off going to the one off steilacoom blvd and s.tac way.. or any other locations... don't support this location the way it is right now... allot of room for improvement with the cashiers... they should take some training on handing impaired individuals with respect.. I'm no less important then anybody else i deserve good customer service.... u don't deserve a job...
