Five stars for your first week of being open!
I'd also like to provide a little feedback, because we all want you to be successful here for a long time!
Love that you have lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Thank you!
The onion pakora were dialed in! I could eat those all day!
The Indian dishes had lovely flavors, but the ratios were a bit off. When I've ordered vegetable korma in the past, it's lots of vegetables with sauce on top. What I got was more of a soup with like four vegetables in it.
The Indian food is your strong point, so keep it up!
Now on to the Italian side of things ...
The fix for the pizza is simple. Adjust your cheese to sauce ratio. I couldn't even see sauce on the pie we got and it was loaded with cheese. Reverse that. More sauce, less cheese ... And add some parmesan and or asiago to the mix as well. I'd even put some under the crust like blue pan does.
Find a different source for mozzarella sticks. Thise are no good. And tell the staff that they should come with warm tomato sauce ... Not ketchup (which is what they came with) and not cold tomato sauce (which we got when we asked for sauce.)
The staff was lovely and very polite ... But a couple things.
Too many people constantly coming by the table asking how things were. All we need is our server to ask occasionally. It got exhausting having to tell a sixth person in nine minutes that yes, we are in fact still doing well.
Be a little more assertive. So many people would come by the table and hold things and have no idea where to put them. Move things around, place items on the table. Simple. Don't hold out drinks and wait for us to grab them in mid air. Just place them on the table.
Hope you had a successful first week and that you stay around a long time. The businesses before you failed be cause their food stunk. One of those Italian places had the worst eggplant parm I've ever had. It tasted sour. Never went back.
Front room had the worst pizza ever. You have the potential to make yours so much better. I hope that you do.
Look at the Mexican place next door. They're always busy be aside their food is incredible and the staff is dialed in. You got this ......

My dad, visiting from Alaska, has been in town for exactly two weeks and is flying back later tonight. We ate at Spice Hub for the first time last night, and he is kind of icy about the six days he missed out on eating at this place.
P.J. was our server. He was friendly, attentive, and had an enthusiasm that is making me smile as I write this. Prince also came around to check in & was great — the people who work here are as exquisite as the food.
Between three adults and a 6 year old, we had the following (don’t judge): Pappadum, a large 1/2 Loaded Meat Lovers & 1/2 Hawaiian pizza, Chicken Pakora, Chicken 65, Cheese Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Makhani, Chicken Saag, (yes, I’m still going), Masala Chais, and Mango Lassis.
Every single thing we ordered was nothing short of perfection. I wish I had taken pictures of the food. I commented to my dad and husband that they might have to drag me out of the restaurant - it was that good. For reference, we paid quite a bit to go play with and feed alpacas on a farm yesterday, but our visit to this restaurant right around the corner was the highlight of the day.
We’re going to have the best fridge of leftovers known to man for the foreseeable future. And I’m going to be counting the minutes until we go back.
We’re SO excited to have you here, Spice Hub & Fox Point Pizzeria!!! Thank you for giving us such a...
Read moreWhile the food is good, I ordered sweet potato masala and paid an extra $3 to have chicken added to it. What I got was a container full of sweet potato, and 4 small 1” cubes of chicken. Not at all worth $3. I also got so much rice it could be enough for 3 meals. I’d rather pay less and get an appropriate amount of rice than have a bunch of leftover rice and no meat that I actually paid extra for. The vibe of this place being both Indian and Italian is just off also. I don’t think I’d dine in.
Update: we decided to give this place a 2nd chance and do the pizza this time. I got a GF Supreme and husband got a buffalo chicken pizza. They were both very average, and neither seemed to have any sauce (Buffalo or tomato) in it. I reacted very badly after eating the pizza, so I’m not sure the crust was gluten free. The last three pizza places there have announced they are not GF kitchens, and I haven’t had a problem with them. However, I feel sick after this pizza. I didn’t feel great after the masala either. We are going to take a hard pass on this place going forward. Coyote Table has far better pizza, and both Curry Kitchen and Coriander have better masala. No need for this...
