This is the THIRD time Iâve been to the Lancaster location and they were out of something. Theyâre out of brisket everytime, last time they were out of brisket and Mac and cheese and tonight was the last time we will be eating here unless something changes. They were out of brisket, Mac and cheese, AND BARBEQUE!!!!! This is a BBQ restaurant yet they have no BBQ or brisket. The only thing I was looking forward to after being told that was the Mac and cheese but the waitress comes back and says theyâre out of that too. My husband got the pork chops and ribs and there was no meat on the ribs and the porch chops were so dry he didnât finish them. He asked for a steak knife because the butter knife they gave him couldnât cut though them but they donât have steak knives either. The only reason Iâm even giving this location two stars is because the wings are amazing and the owners are too. Itâs clear that the problem lies with the kitchen manager and kitchen staff because these problems donât happen at the Indian land location. Itâs not fair to the wait staff because it not only affects the customers but affects the waitresses pay because a lot of customers arenât as understanding as me and take out their frustration on the waitress when it isnât their fault. I understand if this happened once but when this has been every time Iâve eaten here the problem needs to be solved. Underestimating the volume of customers the first few weeks of business is understandable but youâd think that would teach them to order more to be safe than to constantly disappoint customers and affect the whole business.    Read moreBeen going to every one of their nearby locations and service, atmosphere, food and customer service has always been great and wonderful. This restaurant business lives up to their name and definitely delivers especially when you know what you want and knowing how to order and speak your order properly so they will always read it back to you right and if it's wrong they'll always be courteous and helpful to fix the order so you'll leave happy, even if you order by phone.
I definitely think people haven't truly given this place a chance and are discrediting the business yes "521 BBQ" definitely gives you BBQ if you order it from the menu and not just assume they don't have it. Please remember if you simply had a bad experience that it's understandable but don't leave a review bashing them saying they don't offer something if you haven't fully checked out their menu or bother asking and they always might have had employees that are new and I'd love to say that your employees deserve beyond a 5 star âââââ review although they haven't been there for years, they're trying their best and are very helpful.

I went inside about 3 minutes after walking out & asked the girl who took my order if I can just get a refund because the chicken wasnât right. A short heavier set white woman came out (assuming the manager) & said she canât give me my money back because the chicken isnât raw??? I told her to taste it she said âI had just had a saladâ as if I got the same exact piece of chicken that she got. I asked her repeatedly if I can get my money back because if yâall are serving me raw chicken I donât want nothing else you have to offer. I barely touched the salad & Iâve never gave anyone a hard time about some food unless ITS NOT RIGHT. Terrible terrible management. She REFUSED to give me my money back.
