Lemme tell yall something I have almost NEVER had a good experience at this subway. Last semester CONSTANT attitude from workers like damn it's not my fault yall chose a crappy place to work. But girl today TOOK THE CAKE so basically I ordered on the mobile app cuz the lines are always long and the customer service is ALWAYS below average so I'm trying to avoid those workers tbhhh (theres one lady there who works there who is very sweet I wish I got her name) Anyways i ordered at like 11:40 and it said 12:01 pick up and I was like chill ok. I actually got there LATER btw like 12:10 and i went to the register. The store was packed and me and like 3 other people were waiting for our orders. Mine had already been done BECAUSE I COULD SEE IT. Anyways this lady making the food told us to stand outside the store for mobile orders which obviously was like ok girl I gotchu the store is packed. So I just waited outside where they could see me :P Then i really tripped out WHEN THE SAME GIRL told me I needed to be by the register. I was like girl why did you tell me to stand outside the store if YOU WANTED ME IN THE STORE WHAT and she started yapping abt something but i had already started walking back in the store and then I just waited around. Btw I COULD STILL SEE MY ORDER. I literally had to ask this lady (I do feel bad abt bothering them when they're busy cuz ik yall stressed) "hey my order says it's done it's for so and so" and she gives me it and I'm like thank u ofc. What's crazy is that she says to me "Just for next time, the app pickup time is estimated and it doesn't know what's happening in the store" Did i mention it was already 12:15? Like I get it you're busy in the store but like cmon man I get it's an estimation BUT I LITERALLY SAW MY ORDER WHEN I GOT THERE like ughhhh. How does that apply to me when my food is done and RIGHT THERE. Food was fire tho but thats it nglll. Like i said I've never had a good experience here and i don't really come here because of that. I was just using up a gift card lol. There might have been a misunderstanding but seriously the workers felt hostile...
Read moreDear [Manager/Subway Corporate],
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the customer service experience at the Subway located inside AV College. If it were possible to give no stars, I would, due to the consistently poor treatment we have received from the staff.
On Wednesday, July 16th, I visited the café with eight of my participants, all of whom have disabilities. We sat at tables that were noticeably dirty, so I politely asked a staff member for a single napkin to wipe the surface. She refused, stating that napkins are only given to paying customers. I explained the tables were unsanitary and again requested just one, or alternatively, a paper towel from the dispenser near the sink. She refused both requests in an unkind manner. It was disheartening to be treated so dismissively over such a small, reasonable request.
The following day, Thursday, July 17th, we returned to the café, as it is one of the cooler spots on campus. A co-worker had placed a mobile order for a sandwich. When he approached the counter at 12:00 p.m. to ask if it could be prepared—while the store was completely empty—he was told by the same staff members that he would need to wait 25 minutes. Despite there being no line or other customers, they refused to make the sandwich sooner. After walking away, we observed the employees talking among themselves and looking at our group while continuing to delay the order.
This type of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. My team and I are respectful, kind, and easygoing individuals, and we were shocked by the hostility and lack of basic courtesy. It is especially troubling given that we were accompanied by individuals with disabilities who deserve to be treated with dignity.
I strongly urge Subway management to re-train the entire staff at this location—including the shift manager—on proper customer service and disability awareness. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see meaningful improvements...
Read moreI stop into this Subway on the Antelope Valley College campus about four times a week. As a professor on campus who tries to follow a healthy diet, I really appreciate having this option so close by. The service is consistently excellent, the staff always treats me with kindness, respect, and positivity, and I make sure to do the same in return.
The food is always fresh and fantastic, and they prepare my sandwich quickly and with care. The team members here create a welcoming and uplifting environment, which makes each visit an enjoyable experience. I’m genuinely thankful for their hard work and the convenience this location provides for both myself and my students.
If I could add one wish, it would be for a larger Subway space. This spot is so popular that the line can get a little long during peak lunch hours. I admire how quickly the staff works to keep things moving, but I also know they have their hands full! Still, even when I’m waiting, I know it’ll be worth it.
Overall, I want to commend the hardworking young people, many of them students, who keep this Subway running smoothly. Their effort and attitude do not go unnoticed. I’m very grateful to have them...
