It took me a few days to decide whether or not I should leave a review, but honesty kept nagging at me because of my experience. I'm posting primarily on the fact that we all work hard for the money that we earn & then decide to put back into our communities. We "should" expect good service, a clean atmosphere, and edible food in trade when we choose to do so.
After walking into this particular location, my family & I were never appropriately greeted. Once acknowledged and standing at the door for a few mins, we were rudely told that we can "sit wherever you want." This was barked at us by an employee at the same time one of my sons was being knocked into by a man that was CLEARLY beyond needing to be served any more alcohol.
Then, after an additional few mins of sitting at our table while CLEARLY BEING SEEN BY STAFF WITH MUTUAL EYE CONTACT, yet without greeting for some time, a ruthless bartender finally acknowledged us for a drink order with a short temper & rushed attitude. YAY.
Our drinks arrived wrong and our waitress/bartender that's undeniably throwing an undertone attitude about the mishap then asked again what we wanted. We finally had something to drink once remade. Mind you, it takes a lot to fuel my flame as we were considerate & friendly the entire time
We then ordered appetizers that arrived within 10 mins and they were utterly disgusting. Cheese sticks & Buffalo Ranch Fries. They were cold and tasted like old burnt cooking oil, not to mention a laughable portion considering the cost. - Again, we are friendly & tolerate it.
Interim - We are having to listen to an overly obnoxious patron at the bar still being served beer after beer while falling sideways on his stool. Yay.
Main meal - Cold, greasy, literally a few, as in 15 fries, and yet again DISGUSTING.
Fast forward to the bill & my added tip that was JUST SHORT OF $100.00!!! - I've spared you all the details in between, believe me. This is the short story.
While some may think this is an elaborate negative review, I also take the time to write great reviews when I feel inclined. This needed attention, but dining out with my children was not the appropriate time to engage with management.
The overall experience was horrible. I honestly don't think it was an "off night." After being in the establishment for 5 mins my skin felt sticky and greasy. The air is thick and everything felt/looked dirty. (Confirmed with prior food stuck on the salt and pepper shakers, fingerprints & food all over our menus, splash marks/streaks of some kind all over the T.Vs, food under our feet at the table, Etc.)
Do better. Take a day to sanitize, and change your cooking oil, as well as hire new staff with a friendly demeanor. Your staff ultimately represents your company!!
I'm still so beside myself with our experience, maybe an honest review like this can help prompt a mandatory all-staff meeting to regroup?!?! I'm not looking for anything free, just hoping I can save someone else an unfriendly experience, feeling like they need another shower after leaving and saving what felt like $100 down the drain.

Read moreWent on a Saturday afternoon @2:30. Relatively slow. Only a couple of tables. We're told to seat ourselves so we picked a booth and waited for drinks for someone for quite some time. When she came she asked for our drink order. When I tried to order my beer of choice the waitress said they were out. So I asked for alternative options and she says: "the beer list is over there on the board.". I said "oh ok" (clearly unhappy with her response). As I was reading the beer options from afar, in a disgusted way since Im seemingly taking to long to choose she says "ill be back" and walks away. When she comes back she says "do you know what you want yet?". I smirked and said "no not yet" (just joking), she definitely didn't get the humor in it and seemed upset. I said "just kidding" and ordered. Next When we were ordering our food my daughter ordered wings and once she did the lady says "it says there it comes with a side". This was pretty rude to say to someone let alone a child. Next my son ordered "shrimp platter" and fries for side. She didn't ask how he would like his shrimp (he wanted fried). His shrimp came out not fried and unseasoned. I didn't send it back because I have worked in restaurants before and I know its risky to do so. I ordered the prime rib sandwich, she asked how I wanted to steak and I said medium. It came out well done, dry, and cold. Waitress didn't check on us.. we had to flag someone down for silverware. We sat at the table finished with our food for 15 minutes. Some of us didn't finish our food, she didn't bother asking if we wanted a box. Not sure if the waitress was new to her job, or just having a bad day, but the service was horrible start to finish!! The food was not hot and not flavorful.Lastly, this doesnt hurt me as the customer but the tip %'s were off (pic shown). Our bill was $101 and it said 15% was $14.20. I'm not the greatest ar math, but I know a bill over $100 -- a 15% tip wont be under $15. So they are hurting their waitresses pockets with this miscalculation. I have eaten at Beefs all over the countey for over 25 years, this was the worse food and service at any of them, making me question this franchise and whether to come...
Read moreI've been here twice so far. On my 2nd visit to this location, we sat on the screened patio. It was loud. If I'd brought my kids when they were younger, this seating area would've been perfect, as the adjacent outside area had bean-toss games & plenty of room for kids to run around. But my group was already seated when I arrived, & since we'd all had kids, none of us were terribly bothered.
Because one of the other ladies already had a yummy-looking sangria, I ordered one, too. That 1st one was good, w/ 3 pieces of fruit, & the great taste of sangria. But my 2nd tasted like watered-down cranberry juice, with only 1 piece of fruit...almost like I'd ordered 2 different drinks.
As soon as I opened the menu, the Cheesy Bacon Pub Chips caught my eye, & I stopped looking. And that top layer was incredible! Unfortunately, the juicy bacon & cheesy goodness covered maybe a third of the potatoes on top, & underneath were just thin, dry potatoes. I'm no cook, but, a larger platter to spread out the potatoes before the cheese & bacon drizzling might have led to a better end mix. Just a thought.
Our server was attentive & kept everyone's drinks coming as we liked. But the TVs on the patio went off before 10pm (on a Friday night), & the house lights came on just after 10. Our server brought our checks without our requesting them, so we felt like we were being rushed out so they could close that area. But really, this is Florida, & possibly the 3rd night this fall w/ temps below 80 - what's the hurry to close the patio? Oh, wait, we're in Land O'Lakes. Even with that odd 2nd sangria, I'd wanted to order a 3rd drink, but since we'd already paid, none of us wanted to start a new tab. As this isn't my neck-of-the-woods, I didn't check their hours, but the ladies I was with said they closed at 11pm on weekends, so I'm not sure why 4 drinking women were being rushed away, but whatev. I didn't choose to eat here, & never would on my own, but I'm sure the girls will be back...
