normally it’s a 5 star place for my friend & I but tonight it was a 1, it started out with I believe a new kid on the block name, Chelsea, She was personable, I was taking my time to decide what I wanted to eat because I was busy trying to figure out what I wanted to drink, I ordered my drink right away, took some time to ordered the meal. My friend ordered the meal at the same time as I, We were waiting a while, Wondering where the bread was so I asked Eddie are they baking the bread not sarcastically but actually a question because in the past when we waited a long time we’re told that oh they’re baking some fresh bread, but I guess he took it as a sarcasm, Yeah, they’re just baking it for you! I looked at him and said we’ve been there already at least 20 minutes we had not gotten our silverware or plates, Eddie seems to take over for Chelsea, He then put the two plates and the flatware those wrapped around with a napkin on her counter, Food came I ordered a corn chowder with crab. It was just lukewarm so I said can you take it back and get it heated? Took it back brought out a new one. It was still just lukewarm, but I said the hell with it and ate it, Oh my friend and are enjoying our meal. Our drinks comes to the end of the night brings our bill the regular Server who usually helps us his name is Blaine Came over and I asked him a question about their diamond account, my friend has a Diamond account, Blaine was explaining to my girlfriend how it really works, Eddie comes over to me & tells me that the diamond account can only be for one account, I said my friend has the diamond account that I I have , Eddie has me my bill, i put my CC w/my AARP card, Meanwhile, we are playing if you could please give us the little cups to put the oil that comes with the bread so we can take it home, Blaine gets that for us, my friend asked Eddie For a bag to put her bread in, he tells her rudely just stick in with your leftovers, then He remotes our plates, everything including the little cups for us to take our oil, He comes back with my check my cards and throws it on the counter, The issue is the attitude, Acting like he’s rushing so much and has so much to do, but the last draw was throwing the cards at me, I worked in the business 10 years I’m 70 and I’ve been eating at restaurants for at least 60 years for the first time in my life. I did not leave a tip was terrible. Eddie has some freaking attitude. I don’t know why He had an attitude we go there quite often. We usually have our service with Blaine He treats everyone with respect and like they’re all his favorite customers, I’ll be a cold day in before I go back and...
Read moreUpdate: I was contacted by a manager from the store - she was very empathetic and understanding and has invited us back in for a second chance - the 2nd visit was a complete opposite of the first. Granted, they knew we were there for a re-do, but they went above and beyond to take care of us. Still somewhat confused as to the correct pricing for pairing scallops with the steak, as the manager who contacted me told me the pricing wasn't accurate from the first visit and should be reduced when ordered as a pairing, but the manager on this visit told me it was accurate (she took care of me with a price reduction anyways though and said she would check on proper pricing) - Michael was awesome as our server on this visit
Underwhelming experience. The food is way overpriced. A 7 oz sirloin is 20 bucks and adding 4 scallops to that was an additional $9... that's $2.25 PER SCALLOP, which were undercooked to boot... My $10 drink was left with less than half a glass after taking almost all the ice out. They were busy, so we didn't see our server too often, until we were videoing my wife opening her anniversary present, then she was there of course, interrupting the video. The girl at the front with the ipad was taking up as much room as possible and preventing me a clear path to check in with the hostess after being paged. And then we had to inch around her to follow the guy to our table. This was a one and done for sure. $82 for 2 people is not something that seems like a Bonefish level meal... especially if service isn't top notch. I'd rather pay less and go to a steakhouse like Longhorn, or pay slightly more and go to an upscale place...
Read moreI am a 30 year local to the area and have been to this precise Bonefish Grill a few times in the last two months and while the first experience was decent, it declined the next visits.
Most recently I took my mom here for Mother's day, which was understandably busy, yet barely accommodating. I made reservations the previous day (over 24 hours prior) for the following day online and wasn't seated until almost an hour later after showing up 15min early. I also had to ask where I was in the query to then be offered a table before ever receiving the "your table is ready" text, which never came.
While the service was fast, the lobster was dry and rather than being offered an alternative to our original side orders of asparagus & vegetables, we were automatically served green beans without asking if that's what we wanted. Neither of us are allergic, but in the food industry I believe proper etiquette is to never assume in oder to avoid any allergic reactions and always ask before serving someone something they never requested. The green beans also tasted far from fresh and unseasoned. The free dessert didn't exactly make up for the rest.
I had zero issues with the servers I experienced, but comprehended the issues root within the overall management of this establishment.
Maybe set a limit to online orders and decline walk-in reservations when the wait is over 30min. If management or corporate needs more suggestions/advice my consulting services are open; best of luck continuing this location the next 2-3 years.
Looking forward to what fulfills...
