Okay if I ramble on this was my first time at tiki cove have passed tiki cove multiple multiple multiple multiple times. Never paid attention on how many cars were in there but however the other night pass by was packed on the way to my brother's house. Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised (there was a lighted boat parade) have been in Florida for a couple few years and that is the first time I have saw a lighted boat parade. None of the people that I had talked to even knew that that was going on which I think was one of their downfalls even though they were slam packed they could have really been slam pack with better marketing. It was great to have a mixture of family orientated people dogs parents with kids people playing saying volleyball had a band going something for everybody loved it fantastic even though stayed a short time.
Now on a different note order a Long Island iced tea which I haven't had in about 10 years tasted more coke the cola that was supposed to be for coloring than alcohol I'm not sure if that was due to lack of experience or not making that drink that often will not stop me from going back to the tiki cove but that is more of an FYI for...
Read moreI enjoy this bar, but the employees are very hit or miss- some are fantastic, others are such a$$hats. And those who are rude take pride in being rude! The clearly marked shirts show they are employed there!!!
Moon Market schedule is weird... It always seems to fall on the same day as a private event of hostile, territorial guests, which is a real shame - even had a rather rude and hostile employee scold me for simply putting down 1 of the 2 drinks I was carrying while I put away some stuff in my bag while I waited for someone. I expect a bit more courtesy given the high prices!!! So we visit for the market, buy a drink early to enjoy while walking around, and leave immediately after - since there aren't seats for us anyway!!! It would be better if private parties and public events were at different times, or if the seating was available...
Read moreMy first visit was great. Strong drinks, lovely breeze, good cover band. Families are welcome which really adds to the fun spirit. Food took a while despite few diners, but not complaint worthy.
Two notes: Bathrooms are a step above portapotties, in a temporary trailer of sorts. They seemed clean, but some people won't like it.
Secondly: a bartender got sarcastic when I forgot to say please after requesting an extra slice of lime. Since I was pleasant and happy, I'm not sure I deserved chastisement. When I apologized, he told me outright that I was rude. My friends thought he was offensive. Shrug I still like the place and will...
