Tracy was amazing! She was super excited to share their offerings with us. She shared the specials and knew everything about the meals including ingredients. All in all the Kitchen has great service and great food.
I’m stealing an another person’s review. The young customers review is hanging on the fridge and very cute:
“Bob’s Country Kitchen
Have you ever been to Bob’s Country Kitchen? They have the best food in the Berkshires! Bob’s Country Kitchen is a family diner located in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Bob’s Country Kitchen is the best restaurant because it has amazing food, low affordable prices, and an amazing atmosphere.
First, Bob’s Country Kitchen has the best food. They make the best Oscar Long Hot Dogs, and it is said by buyers that they make the best hot dogs. They also make sandwiches and soups available at lunch. A normal hot dog is $5.50, Sauerkraut Hot Dog $6.50, Chili Dog $7.50, Chili Cheese Dog $8.50, and Chip’s special hot dog, and they also have hamburgers. For example, my favorite hamburger is the Bacon Cheeseburger, and it’s $10.95. And they also have beef hot dogs for $12. Clearly, Bob’s Country Kitchen makes the best hot dogs around.
Also, Bob’s Country Kitchen has delicious pies and desserts. For their pies, they have Chocolate Cream Pie, Coconut Cream Pie, Boston Cream Pie, and amazing apple pies. They also make fantastic Strawberry Shortcake and Cheese Cake. All of their pies are all affordable and designed well. All the delicious desserts are made at the restaurant, and you can order as many as you want. Bob’s Country Kitchen has amazing desserts that you should definitely try!
Finally, Bob’s Country Kitchen has a fun atmosphere inside and great service. When you go inside, there’s always a nice, cheerful, and designed diner, and the service is amazing. It is seated and served all by waitresses and waiters, and you can get anything you want. The service at Bob’s Country Kitchen is amazing, they make sure they get everything on time, and they make sure that the drinks and food are served well. The waiters are all very respectful, and Bob’s Country
Bob’s Country Kitchen is clearly the place to go for your next meal around Lanesborough. Bob’s Country Kitchen has food for everyone!

Yes, the food is home cooked, it’s menu offers savory options and is reasonably priced, and is worthy of a 5 star rating, but the ambiance and the sense of being at home fostered by Tracy, our waitress, and the restaurant’s customers truly made this lunch memorable. Being out-of-staters, we hoped for and received courteous and prompt service, but being greeted and engaged by Tracy and other customers who shared life stories, anecdotes and friendly conversation and treated us as friends, was unexpected. We were made to feel like locals. Side note, an older gentleman came in, (we were later told that he was in his nineties) was greeted and directed to his preferred table, his coat was removed by Tracy who knew his preference for an afternoon breakfast. She cut his food up and separated his portions of his breakfast on his plate, as per his preference and poured his coffee and fixed it as his custom. When we acknowledged how exceptional that customer care was, Tracy simply said that was what he needed to be comfortable. In short, if you want to eat well, at reasonable prices, go to Bob’s Country Kitchen. But for those of you who want to witness the best of humanity, don’t miss a breakfast, lunch or dinner, seven days a week at Bob’s...
Read moreIt's ok. The menu has a little bit of everything from eggs and waffles to kapusta, meatloaf and sandwiches. The price point's not bad. It's a small, cozy diner. We enjoy it. I'm giving only 2 stars for a few reasons. There has never been enough wait staff leaving the waitress on duty rushed, missing orders, and spread too thin . There's no way any 1 waitress can serve all of the customers herself and check them out in a timely fashion. Today I simply ordered eggs over medium and light toast. FAIL! Cold, over done eggs and burnt toast. The second time she brought me the eggs and toast was better. She had taken my fork and knife away with the first bad order and never replaced them. My mom used a spoon to cut her waffle! FAIL! The waitresses are usually sweet however it doesn't change the fact that customers are not a priority. If we were, we would be severed in a timely manner. We waited 12 minutes before the waitress even said hello today. She was so busy doing everything except cooking, that there was no extra time for her. The waffle took 40 minutes!!!! We were told they had to make more mix. Umm, that's ridiculous. All in all we were there today 2 hours and 15 minutes! FAIL! It should have been under an hour. Very disappointing. We'll go again, when we have...
