This was shared directly with the restaurant. After nearly 3 weeks, I have not heard back. "RECEIPT INFO: 10/08/2021 2:35 pm. Order: 11902. Name: Table 16. Server: Brylee. Check: 1. Hello, except for the presentation and freshness of my food today, I was very disappointed. I was greeted promptly and professionally. Thankfully, I knew what I wanted—the menu had a ‘sticky’ touch as if it had not been wiped after a number or uses OR semi-wiped with a dirty rag. The chili relleno is of my favorites from Maria’s. I generally order carry out with mixed impressions on the product when I am ready to eat – I live a 15ish min drive from the restaurant to my home, and know to not expect temperature or presentation to be fresh from the kitchen. The reason that I bring this up is that I get a rough 2/3 to 3/4 fewer beans than were on my dine in plate today ---- for the same price. The small area for serving in the carry out trays cannot be at fault --- beans can be served in a separate container. Rice is also scant when carrying out, but not as notable as the beans. The other reason that I am writing is that once my food was served “Brylee” did not come to see if my food was okay … or check for water refills, or anything. She did not come to my table until she saw me pull my Visa out. Only ONE other table was occupied with a party of 2. There were 2 or 3 at the bar. There is absolutely NO reason or her lack of service. Though I noted on the receipt the reason for the low tip, I want the reason to be known by managers/owners....

I became quite ill after eating at this establishment on 02/07/25. Because I’d had no negative experiences to that date AND knowing that the proprietors have ties to 3 other establishments in town in one way or another, I gave another chance on 03/23/25. I did not care for my order and wrote it off to personal taste. I returned on 04/04/25 and became more ill than I did on 02/07/25. Though I vowed to not return after 04/04/25, I did on 07/19/25; I was hungry and in the vicinity. I was reasonably welcomed and invited to seat myself, which I did. NOTE: there was a 2-person party at one table and one person at another. In looking around, I observed one employee leaning into the area where plates are placed prior to being served. I thought little of it – food served hot is more important than tending to someone that just arrived. Shortly after an employee checked on the individual at the table immediately in front of me. I thought it odd that I was not asked what I wished to drink. A bit later, I saw one of the 2 employees filling a water glass anticipating that it was for me and would come to me with a menu and question if I wanted anything else to drink. Such did not happen. He drank the water while looking straight at me. I got up from the table stating I was leaving because they were not paying attention. Instead of apologizing, and offering me a menu, I was waved at on my way...

Worst "Mexican" food I've ever had. I tried to eat it cause I was hungry but I was afraid it would make me sick. When I called in I asked if they had enchiladas verdes she didn't know what I was talking about so I said green enchiladas. She still didn't understand and went to get the cook. The cook said they have green enchiladas. I asked him if he could make them enchiladas suizas. He said he doesn't have mozzarella. Ok, that's fine, green enchiladas.

My enchiladas were orange and the sauce was like liquid cheese. They were really terrible! The lettuce was scary cause it was wilted and watery. The rice was almost certainly pre-made, canned, boxed or something. It wasn't Mexican, I know that. I was afraid of the beans. I didn't even try them. I pass through here twice a week from Chicago to WA/OR. I was hoping this place would be awesome. I would've ordered several meals to keep in the fridge. However, I won't ever be back here.

The only good thing about the place is the atmosphere. The kitchen is open to the bar area and it makes for a...

The chips they bring out as an appetizer are great, super thick. Their salsa is a bit watery but has good flavor. So watery, you have to pick it up with a spoon. It also has a bit of a kick, which is nice. I ordered the spicy green chili with a side of rice. The green chili is more of a soup, and not green at all, with very little pork in it. A lot of green chili is not all green but it has some kind of green hue to it. Don't quite know how it's supposed to be eaten with the tortillas that come with it. Flavor wise, it's good. Wish it had more meat. The rice is ok. Nothing stands out to me. The Tortillas feel like they are store bought and heated up on the grill before sending them out.

Our first time trying Maria's. We were all highly satisfied. I have been a diehard fan of Corona Village, dont get me wrong I still like them too, but this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Food is not really spicy as served. I think this is a good move for people with a delicate pallette. The flavors pair perfectly with some added tapatío. Molly did a fantastic job at serving us today! Constructive criticism 1. Some heat would be nice. (Ambient temperature) 2. Relying on just a bloody mary mix is definitely a easy miss. Take some time to do research on how to spice up your bloody mary. Make them stand out and be bold.
