McDonald's — Restaurant in Laramie

Honestly, abysmal. I hate to say this whole "I used to work here" line, but I did from 2018 to late 2020. Anyways, to my experience. I went in to order because the time before this I went through the drive through. It took forever so I decided to use the self serving kiosk to streamline it as much as I could. I watched them look at it, sit on it and do nothing. This location allows you to see into the kitchen. And what I saw were practically zombies. Moving less than half a mile an hour, no one on the food assembly line, and no one at their station. The only one who was mostly at their station was the manager as they just stared at the screen. You can also see their orders on screen. Including mine they had 7 orders total (mine and one other for inside, and 5 on drive through) none of them were big orders and I've seen them grind through orders like that in almost no time at all. And each order was on the screen for way longer than they should. For those who don't know, your order shows up on this screen and is programmed to highlight it red if your order is taking longer than it should. Each order was highlighted. When they finally got to my order (due to the available view into the kitchen) I watched them put together my 2 McGriddles. The assembly was so slow, it looked like someone who is being held there against their will and lost all motivation putting it together. My order, along with the rest were on their screen for 15 or so minutes. The only reason it would take this long is if they got completely out of prepped food and had to cook each order with its components as they were ordered. I worked there, I know situations like that happens. But this is the second time that this abysmal wait time happened and my food did not look, feel, or taste like it was cooked to order. Once can be dismissed, twice is a pattern. I've never seen a McDonald's operate...

Went to the drive thru today(08/04/24) As I pulled into the drive thru, there was a car ahead of me. Also a car on the outside drive thru area, both cars ordered, I pull up to the speaker and couple cars(about 3) are at the outside drive thru area and all 3 cars got their order taken before I got mine taken. I did say "Hello" to try and get them to answer and they still didn't answer,finally after the 4th car on the outside drive order I finally got to order. I got 2 iced coffees and 1 smoothie. I pulled forward to pay and got to the 2nd window to pick up, they had the smoothie made, but then pulled me to the 3rd window to wait on my iced coffees..... As I looked in my rear view mirror I saw the car behind me get their iced coffee and food..... I sat there waiting for my coffees and everyone that had ordered after me was out of the drive thru. Let's just say I wasn't happy that they pulled me forward for my coffees even though the car behind me had...

Terrible drive through experience for us. Ordered 2 meals (one with 2 cheeseburgers & 1 with a quarter pounder deluxe). It's 3:20 pm on a Sunday afternoon & waited forever because they had to make fries & asked to pull up ahead to wait in a designated area. Several people behind us had to pull around & wait as well & they had them wait in front of us, even guy with trailer who had to back in to still fit in parking lot. The gal brought out bags & offered 3 different ones before finding the right one. And you guessed it, fries were NOT warm. And we still had to wait for others to get their food ahead of us because we were blocked in. So head down the road opening our food & we realize missing a French Fry for 1 of the meals & the deluxe burger only had ketchup & mustard on it. Not willing to get back off the interstate to wait for them to correct but geeez, this was such...
