Mexican palace — Restaurant in Laredo

Service was bad. I ordered 2 steak birria tacos, beans and rice. $8 cool. I asked for a shrimp taco to be added on, paid $4 cash. Get food, get all the way back to truck, no shrimp taco. After parking, walking all the way over there, driving to the store to use restroom and wash hands, I just couldn't go back over there. I was starving, but THEN, I tasted the food and my Lord! It's just MID AF. I don't see how it has a 4.7 rating, everything needed salt, the sauce was just too damn hot, the taco shells were falling apart and not much flavor at all compared to other authentic Mexican food trucks and restaurants I've tried. Do yourself a favor, try one of the other trucks, skip...

Food was excellent. I stood in the 100 degree sun while it was fresh prepared and it was worth every minute. I had the steak which was tender and delicious, potato salad and beans, all seasoned Mexican style with fresh and sautéed onions, cilantro, lime wedges and a fresh pepper.

They don't speak much English so have an idea of what you want. They were super nice and friendly about my broken Spanish, as were all the truck drivers in line with me.

Oh, the free cup of soup while I waited was the cherry on top. I'll be back everytime...

Delicious food served up from the magic school bus. Love eating at this place, forget all the truck stop food, swing by this place instead. They take cash, card or cash app. Incredibly good food and reasonably priced. And their salsas are legit
