Finally, A Great Italian Spot in Laredo! Okay, so I am a huge fan of Italian food, and honestly, the place at the mall just wasn't cutting it for me anymore. I decided to check out this new Italian place in Laredo, and I have to tell you, it was absolutely great! The whole vibe of the place is awesome. They had good drinks, and there was a ton of space and really nice scenery to enjoy while you ate. Seriously, I could have hung out there all night just for the atmosphere. I started with the fried shrimp appetizer, and man, that was a perfect way to kick things off. The shrimp was so good, crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside, and not chewy at all. That's how you know it's done right. For the main course, I went a little off menu for Italian and ordered the steak and garlic parm truffle fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. And those fries? They were a fantastic compliment to the meat. They were so good, I literally had me cleaning the plate with the fries! And since I'm a big Italian fan, I had to grab some of their chicken parmigiana to take home for dinner the next day. Overall, this spot is very welcoming and gives you a at home vibe, and I'm a big fan. If you're looking for quality Italian food and a great setting in Laredo, you need to try this place out.

(TLDR: Atmosphere was incredible; Food 10/10 - order the fillet minion; service is super friendly) I literally never do reviews, but in this case, I'm going to make an exception. This place was amazing! The restaurant has a super comfortable atmosphere. Its a renovated home in historic downtown Laredo. The chairs are comfortable and the decor is old-school charm with some contemporary quirks. In the back, there is a bar with musical memorabilia on the walls. The bathrooms are very clean and before you exit, there is a full length mirror (A huge plus for people who like to tuck-in their shirts). Tons of street parking was available which is a huge benefit for a downtown restaurant. The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the menu! The owner even came out at the end to see how our meal was. I had the calamary and the fillet minion. This is one of the few places in Laredo that knows what medium rare means. The fillet was perfectly cooked, and melted like butter as soon as you took a bite. I like the that as soon as we left, we could go straight to the bar next door. Overall, I love this place, and I really want other people to love it too.

We had such a wonderful time at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was just perfect — cozy, welcoming, and with a great vibe that made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an awesome dining atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

We recently hosted the United School Volleyball Pasta Night at Nonna 1120, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The restaurant went above and beyond by creating a special pasta plate just for the girls — and they absolutely loved it.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. The staff and waiters were attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.

A huge thank-you to the entire Nonna 1120 team for making this event such a memorable and enjoyable night for everyone. We’ll definitely be...
