Raul's BBQ – Honest Review
I gave Raul’s BBQ a fair shot, stopping by four days in a row hoping to catch them on a good day. Unfortunately, while the food itself is decent (I’d give it a 3 out of 5), the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired.
First, be aware that there is no parking, which makes getting there a hassle. On top of that, their card machine is constantly down, so it’s cash only—something they assured me would be fixed “tomorrow” each day I visited, but never was.
Another major issue is the language barrier. The staff only speak Spanish, which I usually don’t mind, but in this case, they’re unwilling to work with anyone unless you speak it fluently. This made ordering and resolving any questions pretty frustrating.
Service? 2 out of 5. Atmosphere? 1 out of 5—there's not much to say there other than it feels unwelcoming.
