Amedeo Pizza Italian Cafe: A Symphony of Neapolitan Tradition and Culinary Excellence
Located in the heart of our city, Amedeo Pizza Italian Cafe is a unique blend of Neapolitan tradition and culinary excellence. This hidden gem offers a gastronomic journey that mirrors the streets of Naples, where the founder, Raphael, discovered his passion for Neapolitan cuisine in 2000. Amedeo's commitment to perfecting the pizza experience is evident in every bite, setting it apart from other Italian eateries.
Stepping into Amedeo is like entering a sensory wonderland. The decor, a harmonious blend of pastels, is adorned with vibrant paintings that transport diners to the idyllic landscapes of Italy. This visual feast is a prelude to the culinary delights that await, promising a dining experience that is as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the palate.
During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring two of Amedeo's culinary masterpieces: the Titan Margherita pizza and the meatball sub sandwich. Each dish was a testament to the cafe's unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity, leaving me craving for more.
The Titan Margherita pizza is a masterpiece that pays homage to its Neapolitan roots. The crust, a harmonious balance of crispy and chewy, provides a perfect canvas for the fresh, succulent mozzarella that melts exquisitely with each bite. The ripe, robust tomatoes lend a vibrant sweetness, beautifully complemented by the aromatic basil and a subtle hint of garlic. This pizza is a symphony of flavors, each ingredient meticulously chosen and perfectly balanced to create a truly memorable dining experience.
Equally impressive was the meatball sub sandwich. The fresh marinara sauce, bursting with the rich essence of vine-ripened tomatoes, enveloped the tender, flavorful meatballs. Each bite was enhanced by the sharp, nutty notes of freshly grated parmesan, creating a delectable, comforting, and sophisticated harmony. With its perfect crust and soft interior, the bread served as an ideal vessel, absorbing the delicious juices without losing its integrity.
Amedeo Pizza Italian Cafe is not merely a restaurant; it is a celebration of the culinary traditions that define Italian cuisine. The unwavering passion and dedication of its team are palpable, from the careful selection of the freshest ingredients to the time-honored recipes that bring each dish to life. For those seeking an authentic Italian dining experience, Amedeo stands as a beacon of excellence, a place where the art of Neapolitan pizza-making is not only preserved but exalted.
In sum, Amedeo Pizza Italian Cafe offers more than just a meal; it provides a unique culinary journey that delights the senses and nourishes the soul. Whether you are a connoisseur of fine pizza or a lover of exquisite Italian cuisine, Amedeo promises an experience that is as delightful as it is...

Read moreOur friend just moved to the area so we were looking for a spot to eat and Amedeo Pizza popped up on Yelp. Since it was new, it didn't have many reviews so we figured we'd give it a try.
When we arrived for an early dinner, the restaurant was empty. The atmosphere was nice and I liked the art theme (menu's on easels, checks on paint palettes etc).
When the waiter came to take our order, I asked what her favorites are. She replied that she couldn't answer but could tell us what was most popular (which didn't mean much to me since they've only been open for 3 weeks). I asked again, saying I'd love to hear the most popular but also her favorites and she still said she couldn't answer. This is more of a personal preference, but I believe that waiters should always be able to answer that. I understand that we all have different tastes, but I like to hear what they enjoy eating at the restaurant.
We decided to share the Classic Chicken Caesar, Amedeo Pizza, and Linguini Clam Pasta.
The Classic Chicken Caesar was good. Nothing that makes it stand out, but also nothing to complain about.
I tried the pizza next. It honestly tasted like a frozen pizza, so taking that into consideration, it was disappointing at a $27 price point.
Side note: we had ordered already and another couple came and placed a to-go order. It was maybe 10 minutes after we had ordered. Their pizza came out well before ours did.
I was the first to try the Linguini Clam and when the other two asked me how it was, the best description I could come up with was "salty". After they tried it, they agreed. There wasn't much flavor besides salt and the pasta was soft rather than al dente (how we prefer our pasta).
As for service, the waiter was very attentive but kind of to a fault. She kept coming and asking if we needed anything while we were in the middle of conversation. And in our opinion, it was easy to visually see that we were still good - drinks were full and we were still in the middle of eating.
The restaurant is still brand new and it feels like they are still getting their footing. We'll consider revisiting after a bit of time to see how they've improved if we're craving Italian in the area, but there are a lot of much better Italian spots...
