I'm giving 4 stars due to having to flag down a waitress to place an order, many vendors coming in to sell merch (I just wanna eat & so did everyone else), no list of what the food comes with (just pictures so we were constantly asking the waitress "what comes in that")and no margaritas, even though they were on the menu 😑 When we got our food, the waitress kept stopping by to ask if our food was good...3 times, but when we were done, no one came around so we had to flag them down for our check. I had the Guerrero molcajete which has 3 different styles of shrimp, fried fish, cheese and avocado. I couldn't tell you what my hubs had because I was so in love with my dish...I never stopped eating! That dish was worth the price...flavor, amount & quality were all on point! Our appetizer was, essentially, a shrimp quesadilla, in a corn tortilla with an amazing chipotle sauce. Since there were no ritas, I opted for the bud light grapefruit seltzer that gave a great refreshing finish to my seafood. They were only serving micheladas or non alcohol drinks. We enjoyed the food here and prices are reasonable so we have no problem making the drive from SW part of the...
Read moreLet me take a deep breath.......... My family and I showed up, we got seated, no one acknowledged us for a good twenty minutes. We finally got our orders taken and waited. My kids got two cheese quesadillas, I got the enchiladas camarones,my hubby got the camarones rancheros, along with one beer. Flavor wise......I give it a 2 and that's being nice. We got our bill..... 57 dollars worth of food my kids didn't even want or eat( the ques adilla) , what child does that?My food was tasteless and not worth it. To top it all off, one man came into the restaurant randomly asking the guests who are eating if they wanted to buy chocolate bars. Ten minutes late a guy approached my family asking if we wanted to buy bootleg movies........so GHETTO. This is the first and last time we will be coming here. I know this restaurant isn't in the best of neighborhoods so by the reviews I thought the food was going to be phenomenal, wrong? Robertos will be seeing me...
Read moreI was not impressed with their drinks. The hibiscus tea tasted like it was not fresh. I mean they more than likely making it from powder. And the horchata also didn't taste right. Not homemade for sure. Shrimp cocktail was brought out filled with an overload of some over-the-counter pico de gallo ice cold, wasn't given an option if I wanted it warm. And I asked for a mixture of octopus and shrimp and I was only brought shrimp, ice cold. They should really stop using that nasty pico de gallo on everything. Make your own stuff. Stand out from the rest. There was three napkins on the table and that's all that ever was. The waitress was sure to ask for a tip at the end. I wish she would have tended to us with a little more skill and enthusiasm. Americans tend to forget that the word tip is for proper service. Constantly disappointed with American...
