Roberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Las Vegas

It's Roberto's so you know before you go what to expect. Every location varies though in quality or cleanliness or customer service skills. I find the location at Buffalo and Charleston to have the best food. Always perfect, never a mistake either. Being in a weight loss challenge with myself it is not something to eat weekly, but once a month my Son and I treat ourselves to a bacon breakfast burrito for breakfast and beef tacos for lunch or dinner. Customer service is great, the dining area is old and needs work but it is clean though. The only true negative is the little side bar with sauces and carrots, onions, peppers and so on is often out of the carrots and onions that go so perfectly with the foods we order. Honestly, the carrots and onions are so good that we won't eat Roberto's if we go in and carrots are gone. In 3 years that has happened a total of 9 times. That is 9 visits out of 36 over 3 years we just turned around and left. We chose another place for our cheat days those 9 times. Overall pretty good shop though. A definite 5 star if not for the...

I absolutely LOVE Roberto's! It's satisfying and so delicious. There is no outgrowing the food. Every since I was pretty young my mom would take me there and we would get food and take some lime with cucumber in a bag home. Now that I'm older, I still go there. I've never eaten anything there that I hadn't liked, with the rice and beans almost always on the side, the beans with cheese on top. Although I'm not a usual and don't eat there much, when I do, it's amazing. They even have good horchata so that way you can experience it the way it should be, the way Mexican food is really prepared and the way it should taste while getting a wonderful meal. The service has been pretty consistant. Now its the food that you have to worry about. The secrete is. If the ladies are in the kitchen then the food will be good. With a reasonable salt level. If the the guys are in the kitchen then perhaps the slat level is more for grandma. The salsa verde was very tastless. The food is just not good when they are on. My wife orders a cali burrito. Asked for extra crispy fries. As you do when you want them crunchy. Nothing but fries. No pico digio. No sour cream avo. Nothing that makes it cali. Gross.
