Roberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Las Vegas

So let me start by saying that the Robertos next to my place is AMAZING. However, they are temporarily closed so I had to look at the 2 closest ones. I chose this location as it was 2 minutes closer. I ordered a Carne asada quesadilla and grilled chicken fries with extra cheese. I sat down. Food was ready within just a few minutes. I grabbed it, looked inside and was honestly a little grossed out. Everything had been just thrown on there. And there was less than the normal amount of cheese, and I ordered and paid for extra. So I went up there and asked for extra cheese. The guy threw a small handful on top and handed it back to me. Still pretty unsatisfied but didn't feel good and just wanted some comfort food so I left. Got home, opened it up in full light and it was GROSS. The chicken was not seasoned. Just pure white chicken, no seasoning or anything on it and they cooked it the minimum amount of time. Typically the chicken from robertos is marinated and flavorful and crispy. Then there were the fries. They were soggy and undercooked. The amount of cheese on it was disappointing. My husbands first bite (and several bites after) of his quesadilla were filled with huge, tough, inedible pieces of Carne asada. I'm honestly...

Yes I shall rate my visit..... I have lived in Las Vegas for almost 30 years. I have eaten at Roberto's on some occasions twice a week. I've always loved Roberto's until my last visit. I pretty much always order 4 beef tacos these tacos made me extremely sick..... I know it was the food because my girlfriend got sick as well. Roberto's used to have a very high standard in regard to the quality of their food which has started to decline in recent years.... I have quite a few friends who have gotten sick from various locations and the number of people I hear this same story from is beginning to get pretty high. I don't know what's going on with Roberto's but they seriously need to step their game up because as of now I don't plan on eating there ever again. My wife and I went to this location around 2:30 AM after a New Years Eve celebration. We walked into this location and it was full of drunk teenagers. These kids were extremely rude to the two gentlemen working there. They were trashing the place and trying to confuse the cashier and cook on their orders so they can get free food. From the looks of it, these were a bunch of entitled kids. I’m giving this review 5 stars because of how the two gentleman behind the counter reacted to these rude kids. They were always polite and had a smile on their faces. Personally I would have not been so nice. If management is reading this, please let those two men working know that my wife and I appreciated their efforts and kindness. It could not have been easy working in those conditions with a bunch of teenagers...
