I frequent this restaurant and its sister location on Eastern and Bonanza, but after my experience today, I will be going elsewhere. The staff was rude, lacked compassion, and need training when it comes to handling situations with customers. Their customer service and communication is no Bueno!
The facility is dirty, the outside smells like urine, and there's a lot of homelessness around the area.
We normally pick up and take home but decided to go inside today and make it a fun evening with the kids. My son accidentally spilled the drink. The top was not on completely. I was attending to my 1 year old and asked my son and my husband to grab the food and the drink. The drink spilled. I immediately started cleaning it, and my son asked for a rag to help me clean it. We mind our manners wherever we go. We don't expect anyone to clean up our mess. The lady comes to clean up. We asked if we could get a refill since the drink had been spilled. The lady on the counter said no after ignoring my kid for a bit. She then said there would be a charge for a new drink. Here I am with my 3 kids trying not to be rude or make scene but this was clearly not okay. Her approach was unnecessary and unacceptable. If she explained it differently or understood the drink was not closed properly, she should have made it right. We paid and moved on. Next, I ordered tacos for my 1 year old with no salsa, and I noticed salsa was added. I went to let them know. The lady on the pick-up side asked to see the receipt, which had been tossed after getting wet. She asked the lady who took the order about it, and she said the order was with Salsa and it seemed to turn into another disagreement. She asks someone in the back if she can remake them and gets the okay. Why the pushback? Why not do what's right to make the experience right? I do hope the owners review their policy or revamp their training with the team on how to handle these incidents that lead to a bigger misunderstanding and a poor experience for customers who had been loyal for years. This place isn't cheap and we spend our hard-earned money for good food and an experience. One thing lacked today....
Read moreTo be honest I was expecting better. People reviewed that food here is very good an well it is not ! It is lazy Mexican food to say the least at least at Taco Bell the food is hot... an they were fast but certainly not fresh or cooked to order. Rice was warm an dry not tasty, carne asada tacos I would not even say that was carne asada looked more like hamburger meat taste less an dry like all food is staged an over held ( cold an old ) . Beans tasted like canned beans. Then it serve with some real wet lettuce on an tomatoes on the side. Differently not at all what I expected. Also didn't understand why there is a 75 cent up charge for asada tacos. For my first an last visit here a really disappointed an will not be...
Read moreDo not go to this location I went at 11:24 and they close the door on my face, they clearly stated that they were already closed however, online it says that hours of operation is until 12:00. There were some customers eating inside. I don’t understand why close early if the hours of operation say 12:00. In that case, they should change their hours of operation. It’s OK I will take my business somewhere else where they actually want my money and somewhere where they’re not rushing to close as soon as possible before the hours of operation. I stayed outside for 5mins and another guy tried to come in and they had to open the door for the guy because they are loosing too much money. This is very...
