Gino Giannilli's Homestyle Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Latrobe

Wow, you have a monthly special 16 cut for 15.99 two toppings. Upon arrival it’s cut in 12 pieces. In a 16 cut box. I kindly call to say hey you cut the pizza in 12 pieces, but I’m paying for a 16 cut. You get told they’ll send another out but to return the original one. Now mind you my children already ate a few pieces, so I kindly called back (couldn’t get through for 15 minutes because your lines are busy) to say it’s ok don’t worry about it my children already ate some, we just won’t order again from you. The lady said no it’s ok a new one is being made and sent out, keep the original. Delivery man comes to my door and says 16.90. (First order was 17.95). (Gave a 20.00 and said keep the change). I proceeded to tell the rude young man no this is a pizza that’s to be given for the mess up. Man turns away and said I was told your to pay for this. No thanks goodbye! Now a few months ago my family ordered 150.00 worth of takeout. You once charged my credit card 5.00 more than what was supposed to be charged, but never complained. You screwed up toppings on a few other orders but we never complained. No sorry was given. No reimbursement was given. Rudeness and scamming people is ridiculous and I will make sure you don’t ever get my business or get any of my families...

This place has really took a turn for the worse since 2020. A friend and I went to Ginos to eat yesterday as I was so excited because I grew up loving this place! I was disappointed to see the waitresses wearing ripped jeans and had ear pods in, I thought that was very unprofessional but whatever. But what really got me was, and yes I was a waitress at one point too, WHY DO WE NO LONGER WRITE ORDERS DOWN??? I asked for a tossed salad with no black olives or beats. Literally 5 minutes later with the salad she said she made, the waitress came back and said you ordered ranch right? Sometimes I forget. I said yes but can I have a plate so I can remove all the black olive and beets. She did offer to make me a new one but it was already there. Later when we finally got our food, my friend asked for a Stromboli with sauce on the inside. You guessed it, sauce was in a cup on the side. He did not much care for his Stromboli; side note. Food was ok. We have had better for $60. I guess some things are just left...

Very nice restaurant in Latrobe. This was my first time there and we were really feeling salads. Although the salads were exceptional, a salad really doesn't give you a real idea of the quality of food at a restaurant. That is where the stuffed banana peppers came in. They were really good and large. We spit it as an appetizer, but it could have been a meal for one person. The whole meal was really enjoyable and we can't wait to try more things from the menu besides the salads. Almost forgot to add, the staff was friendly and attentive. Just a nice local place.

20231130 Had a grilled chicken salad with buttermilk ranch dressing, it really hit the spot. The cheese bread that comes with the salad is awesome and pretty addicting. Our server was Bella, she was friendly and prompt. I am not sure the brand and didn't ask but their sweet iced tea...
