If there was less than a 1-Star review I would select that. Never have I been so disgusted in my entire life. Let's start with the cleanliness. You walk into this restaurant and can't help but think how this place hasn't been on the show "Hoarders." Looks like sharper image took a massive dump in there. There is junk and garbage EVERYWHERE! It never looks like it has been dusted or swept/mopped. Stepping into the restaurant makes me feel like I need to take a long, hot shower and a chemical bath. Oh, you can't forget about my friend saying he went there once and a rat ran by him. So there's that.
Now let's talk about the service... It's awful. If you try to order anything you better know what you want or else the lady on the phone, the owner, rushes you. She really shows that she doesn't have the time to deal with you. If you have the patience to actually sit down and wait for your food, strap in and get ready for a wild ride. If you're lucky you can witness one of the numerous infamous occasions where customers have said they didn't like the eggrolls or whatever and the owner will come out and argue with them and eventually kick them out. If you're looking for exceptional service, you're better off with the self service buffet inside the dumpster behind the restaurant.
Now, by golly the food! I admit, what I've had to eat there can be pretty tasty. Ah, but now come closer my children and look closely at what you're eating! You're sure to be amazed! If you want broken up egg shell pieces in your fried rice then you've come to the right place. Do you want rat poop in that delightful teriyaki chicken lunch special? You've come to the right place. If you want to find an nasty, yellowish, clipped fingernail imbedded into your teeth while enjoying this over-sauced General Tso's Chicken... then you guessed it... You came to the right place!
Literally not joking about any of this. My co-workers picked me something up from there literally just minutes ago. I told myself not to eat there but they were paying and I had no time to get lunch myself so I went with it. As I was eating something got stuck in between my teeth. I pulled it out and it was a straight up fingernail. Like one you would see from a witches toenail. I had to do everything in my power not to projectile vomit all over my place of business. I tossed the food out and went straight to Wal-Mart to pick up some mouth wash. Seriously, I bought an entire bottle of Scope's Minty Fresh Breath mouthwash and I plan on conquering the entire bottle before the day is over.
In conclusion, if you have an impenetrable immune system and the patience of a British Royal Guard then feel free to come on down to the Dragon Palace. If not, then you're a very...
Read moreTAKE OUT ONLY. You need to know two things about this restaurant. The food is good, but the owner, whom we have dubbed "mean Amy," can only be described as hostile. The portions are a good size and are what you would expect from a non-chain chinese restaurant; quite tasty. We have never had to complain about the food. Mean Amy, however, is reason enough to never, ever eat-in. If you cross her, you will regret it. I walked in one afternoon and the door was unlocked, but apparently they were closed. Mean Amy came out of the back yelling "we are closed" and insisted that I leave immediately. There was an old man (who lives there) who was much nicer. Mean Amy has criticized my mom's southern accent, saying "she no speak good english" The irony!! I am not making this up!! Our favorite item on the menu is the "Chicken Cashew," and my family usually got 5 orders of it. After a while of us ordering the same thing, Mean Amy got mad at us and insisted we order something different. Why in the world?? Another time my brother-in-law was eating in with his baby son, who was crying in one of those baby-carrier things. Apparently Mean Amy didn't like it - she came over, picked up the baby carrier and put it in the corner. You don't go and pick up someone's baby without asking. Just trust me - the owner has issues. But hey! Despite all of this we do go back occasionally for take-out, so the food must be good! Either that or we're a sucker...
Read moreWe've eaten here many times since moving to Laurel, and while I have no complaints about the food, the service is less than stellar. On one occasion my husband ordered, I ordered, and when it was our son's turn to order she told us that we were done, no more room on table and walked away. Granted, we placed a large order because we like having leftovers, but still... rude. On another occasion I picked up my order and brought it home. Upon realizing one of the orders was wrong I called to see if I could get it replaced, I was told no, then she hung up. Tonight my husband called to see if he could get 4 orders of fried rice because it's Mother's Day and it's what I asked for to accompany our steak and seafood kabobs. He was asked why he didn't want to place a larger order, then told no he couldn't have just fried rice. We will be making the drive to Billings from now on which is sad because I love supporting local businesses... but with service like this is just...
