Hate to give bad feedback especially when we were only there for about ... 90 seconds!

Here is what WE experienced....

Usually we go to Fowl Play next door. But, we're huge fans of Mexican food and have been trying them all lately in Billings. SO on this day, we opted for this spot to try it out and compare!

We walked in about 30 mins after opening time and were IMMEDIATELY smashed in the face with a stench of sewage that was sooooo bad. I looked to my left and saw we were entering and passing the restrooms so I thought "ok, maybe someone just blew it up in there and we caught bad timing"....but no. As we were greeted and then brought deeper into the restaurant towards the center, the stench was still VERY heavy. We sat in our booth and the waiter said he's be right back. Me and my company looked at each other with watering eyes and sour faces. We both knew in that moment, we weren't walking out....we just both shook our heads in psychic understanding and we RAN out!!! SO fast!

There was noooo way we could eat or drink anything in there without imagining poop particles just covering everything! I've never ever experienced anything so shocking. The very air was unsanitary. And, I do feel awful for running out of there but we just could not proceed.

No idea at all what exactly the smell was but it smelled like sewage and that's all we know. I'm sure the people and maybe the food are nice and good but we couldn't risk having "sewage issues" of our own (potentially) later on.

I see all the good reviews and that's great. I just hope that our experience was maybe a one and only. But.....IDK!!! 😬 Would...

This restaurant offers a great dining experience overall, though there were a few areas that could be improved. The ambiance and food quality were impressive, with the Carne Asada burrito being a standout item, highly recommended for its amazing flavors. However, there were some hiccups in the service, as a few servers had difficulty understanding English, leading to a mix-up with my order. Nonetheless, they were gracious enough to let me use the staff bathroom when the main one had an issue.

While the chicken enchilada and burrito might have fallen short of expectations with their bland taste and seemingly canned chicken, the restaurant's potential shines through in other aspects. With some attention to service and the menu's seasoning, this place has the potential to become truly awesome. Overall, it's a promising option for a satisfying meal, especially if you give that Carne Asada...

Drive fifteen minutes to one of many great places to eat in Billings. Entirely and oddly male staffed. The food while cooked correctly and nothing technically wrong with it was completely void of all flavor or seasoning. Including simple salt and pepper. Zero flavor. 100% bland food. But my main pet peeve was that there was one unmistakable flavor in the salsa and tomato sauces , that flavor was tomato soup. I'd be willing to bet money they're using condensed canned tomato soup as a quick cheap tomato base and throw a few and I do mean very few pieces of onion and jalapeno seed in it to try to pass it off as salsa. Unexcusable in my opinion. It's edible and will make a turd, but you'd do yourself and taste buds a favor going someplace else. Too many very good restaurants just fifteen minutes away to settle for this place....
