Sid's Super Submarines, Pizza & 6-Pack — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

I took my my little family which included my sister my two little boys one of which is five and the other is 1 1/2 years old and of course myself we have been traveling for several hours and have about another 3 1/2 4 hours ahead until we're home..the children are hungry of course we're hungry as well and Sids sounded like a great place beings we are not from the area so figured we will give it a shot so we pulled up the place is a very cute little building i might admit but anything other than that was definitely a huge waste of money & a waste of time! I ordered two 7-in California style chicken cheesesteaks a large waffle fry chicken nuggets and french fries from the kids meal two small bottle of Coca-Cola the total came out to 36 dollars we waited about 20 to 30 minutes for our food which we received and it was cold! not only was it cold but it was also very hard I went in and asked them to reheat the food as my kids could not eat it that hard which they kindly did for me however that was the worst idea I could have possibly thought of because it was like rock solid after that one...there is no trash cans outside for me to dispose of this food I did not want to feed my children but just paid an outrageous price for very very very very very very dissatisfied so now I have two screaming kids a 4-Hour trip home and still no food to feed my children 😔 I will much rather feed my kids McDonald's at this point

One of the best take out restaurants we have in Clearfield....large selection of subs that you cant fail at choosing one...top of the line meats & cheeses....my favorite is the chicken cheesesteak, the chicken is moist & it's real chicken breast which makes a difference....their salads are HUGE even the small is very filling....their bread that comes with their salads is to die for lol its thick cut & always fresh...i do hate that the butter is always cold though, it never spreads on the bread but other than that I've never had a single complaint about anything we've had to eat..... My only complaint is the parking, on any given night it's near impossible to park even if your just picking up an order....and sometimes the girls arent very friendly who take your order, it would be nice if they greeted you like the ones in the back do even when they are busy but most of the girls at the counter are young so maybe they havent caught on yet that they are the face of the business & how to be polite lol but we still order from Sids cuz the food is always fresh & always...

Always fantastic food and service here! However, I did not appreciate the 5 percent surcharge added to my bill to reward your employees for working here during a labor shortage. Paying your employees a livable minimum wage is a basic cost of doing business, not an extra "add on" to be counted separately! If a decent wage only cost 5 percent more, it begs the question why you weren't paying your employees at that rate prior to the labor shortage? Also, you open your business and employees to risk with the IRS about how that money is received. (Is it a bonus, gift, etc.) The tax rate might be different and you could end up costing them more in fines and penalties than you did by "helping" them. You might want to ask yourself if you'd be okay if your electric company decided to tack 5 percent on to your bill to reward the line guys.... Yeah, I...
