Bubble Box — Restaurant in Lawrence

Ever since I discovered Bubble Box last year, it has been my go-to Boba spot. I work nearby and go every week. They have so many delicious flavors and types of tea. My favorite is the lavender milk tea and the jasmine milk tea. And their tapioca pearls are some of the best I've had! But they have other types of bubbles and toppings too.

They have oat milk which I love since I don't drink dairy milk. They are always quick and super nice. They have a punch card that you can use to get a free drink. I often forget mine and they just give me a new one and tell me they can combine them.

I'm also immunocompromised and I really appreciate that they still wear masks. They're one of the only places that still does. I always try to give them a good tip because of that and because I know masks are an additional cost for them.

I also just love their mascot. Would love to meet the cute dog...

The is the best bubble tea shop I've been to. I've been to places in Wichita, Lawrence, Manhattan, and Kansas City and this one has the best black milk tea I've ever had. The people there are so friendly and always willing to explain menu items. The menu is not overwhelmingly large like other places tend to be, and the flavors are not often at other places. The best part is that they have customization options like less sugar, less ice, and less bubbles, which is really great. While the classic milk tea with bubbles is otherworldly (I recommend 70% sugar to really let the best tea flavor shine), they also have various juices and milk teas that are all amazing. Hi Ping, since I am lactose intolerant, my friend specifically asked what kind of milk you use before the order preparation. Based on the front desk response, i.e., "The bubble tea uses lactose-free milk," we decided to move forward with the order. However, my friends do not have dietary or dairy restrictions like me. Considering everyone faced the same issues, it seems to be related to the quality of the product used rather than a dietary restriction. Thank you for your offer of complimentary drinks, but we happily deny it.
