Cavallo Restaurant — Restaurant in Lawrence

Okay where do I start? I live in South Lawrence and this is the only restaurant that delivers to my house. Every single time and I'm not exaggerating every single time I call to place my order it takes me 10-12mins to order only because they don't only talk to me on the phone they also talk to every one else in the restaurant. Like really? if you are taking my order why you put the phone down and start talking to who ever is next to you and leave me there waiting (no kidding this happens all the time). My house is about 8 mins away by driving but the delivery guy takes 1hr to deliver my food because he always goes to my same address in Methuen even though I say S Lawrence but then again they are never paying attention to me when I call to place the order. When I go to the restaurant one of the lady always has a face definitely not a welcoming face don't know why she's there receiving customers. The food tastes just okay but since they are the only Spanish restaurant that delivers here I have to deal with it and just order from there but in the mean time I keep hoping someone invest in a good Spanish restaurant with great costumer service in South Lawrence... Is that too...

I have lived down the street from this place for over 25 years and it used to be way better but it was Charlie's diner but I accepted that it changed and I've tried them out a few times over the last 20 years and every time I go there I get screwed over. The food is always good and the staff is always nice but if you're going to charge the person in front of me that speaks the language One price and then I get the exact same thing behind them and get a different price because I look like a gringa.. nope I am not I am actually Puerto Rican and I do not need a green card to be here I've tried them out a few times and I have been treated nicely but with the same discriminatory nature I go one block down the street to Gomez liquor and get twice the amount of food for the price but you can't fool a white girl that ordered the exact same thing as a Dominican behind me and I got charged twice as much no joke so this establishment...

They took over and totally refurbished this older diner. I went there twice and the was good service, and breakfast was good.

The price was reasonable. And the place was clean and comfortable. There are booths and counter seats.

I recommend this diner as a must try. I plan to return.

I returned today after that bad experience that I had with another diner down the road which overcharged me three times in a row and nobody was willing to do anything about it.

I would describe Dominican and American diner which serves both types of food. I see a lot of takeout orders when I was there this morning.

The price is still reasonable and the coffee is as much as you can get.. The people are very kind and very humble. I don't think enough people know about this place and they should because I think they do a very nice job.
