Riverfront State Park — Attraction in Lawrence

To be honest , this is a beautiful park. However, i'm never coming back, specially with my kid. The park has plenty of free parking, basketball courts, playground and a small trail with beautiful river views. Sadly, it needs maintenance and it's super dirty. It has benches with trash, trash all over the place including trash bags (not even kidding) people smoking marihuana on every corner and I get it is legal but, next to the playground?! Come on.
