Honestly.... I watched the show Squid Game and became interested in Korean foods. There's lots of cool stuff here. They specialize in Korean products but there are ingredients for many cuisines. I got some frozen Tteok-Bokki (rice cakes with a spicy tomato sauce), curry bases, fresh noodles, tofu, some veggies, frozen dumplings and cookies. Prices were very reasonable. Their seafood selections looked good and there were lots of items in their freezers that I'm curious to try. I fried up some of the dumplings as a snack and made a big pot of soup with fresh noodles for dinner. Delicious! I reccomend checking this place out if you're looking to find ingredients for Asian dishes or want to explore some prepared or frozen foods that you won't find in a general grocery store. I love Shin Shin! First, it's important to support local businesses during this pandemic- and it's so much easier to shop here than HMart. We were one of two customers, so I felt a lot better bringing my son with my since he's too young to wear a mask. They have a very good selection of everything you'd need in terms of freshly made banchan and kimchi, frozen items like mandu and even tteokbokki, noodles and ramyun galore, rice cakes, Korean snacks and ice cream, and always premade gimbap and japchae at the register. This hole in the wall is a great little asian minimart. It's owned by a kind Korean family. I remember one of the elders doing a magic trick for me and a little kid many years ago. I think of him often. There is also a gentleman that I see often at the register and is very polite. Their junk food and ramen selection is as good as you can get without going to actual hmart and even then you won't find some of those items. Their ice cream selection is great.
