BEWARE:Shady as all get out and among the poorest management and service I have experienced in a long time.

I was visiting town for graduation and my family and I came here for dinner. I have some food intolerances and had to be selective on my meal. I asked the waitress about my order to ensure I was not getting something with gluten and without beef. I got the street taco “al pastor” I even asked to confirm if they were made with pork (like traditional Mexican al pastor normally is) she answered yes. I get my order and it looks brown like beef.. in addition it was not even prepared like al pastor. It looked just like the asada tacos that a member of my family ordered. I brought it to her attention and she said let me check and came back and said those are pork asada that’s just the way it looks. I ate it hesitantly, but took her word. After I got through it I had someone else confirm from my table that it was beef . I then tell the waitress and she goes to the back and comes out and says. Actually there beef that’s our way of making al pastor. 😡It basically turned into an argument because we were clear from the beginning and we felt she lied. We ask to speak to the manager we felt this was unacceptable. He basically throws her under the bus and says she knew they were beef not sure why she told me that and she has worked there for 5yrs. He also said it happened before and we have to tell patrons that ours isn’t traditional and says I should have called him over after I thought it was beef. My whole entire family got upset of how this was handled and begins to argue with him because he was blaming me for not getting him involved. He never once offered to make it right at all or apologized. I told him about how serious this type of mistake was and he seemed to be so unworried just said I will need to talk to her. A family member begins to get really upset and says “are you going to make this right?” and he stated something to the affect I was going to but you haven’t given me the opportunity. Really? That’s your response, you are going to keep talking and throwing your direct report under the bus without accepting any responsibility? He didn’t care and was one of the worst management examples I have ever seen. I will never eat there again and hope you make the right decision and stay out. I am from this town and used to see this same guy managing many years ago. Definitely needs to be fired before a lawsuit gets thrown in his hands. Luckily my intolerance isn’t life threatening or else they would have been hearing...

It's a Mexican restaurant staffed by Mexicans, what else do you want?

A fair portion of the staff is fluent in Spanish. Hablo Espanol muy bueno. As with any good Mexican joint they have a large variety of combinations of all of the good, simple, and effective ingredients present in their cuisine.

Like many other places these days, they offer a no touch menu, that simply requires that you use the photo function on a smart phone to scan a QR code to pull up their entire menu on that smart phone, so that you don't have to touch anything that might not have been sufficiently sanitized in these trying Covid times we live in these days.

I tried to double check if they used cilantro in any of their salsas, and the server wasn't sure, but I think it was because of how rare my allergy to it is. The cilantro allergy just makes things taste like soapy grass, so it's not deadly or anything, so I wasn't very pressed about it. The salsa verde didn't taste like it had any in it, and I tested the common, mild salsa with the same results as well, so I'm pretty sure they might all be cilantro free, to the benefit of the 15% of humanity that experiences it the way I do.

I got the loaded nachos app as my meal (I don't remember the actual name or the number) and it was really good, hitting all of my dietary and flavor needs.

I wasn't aware at the time that I ordered that I could have simply requested that they include some good, strong spices for flavor and health benefits, so the server and I sparred a little bit about the fact that I went out to my car to fetch the garlic salt and hot sauce I take with me everywhere I go so that I can make sure that anything I want to be as salty, flavorful, and spicy as I like is so. She very kindly pointed out that all I had to do was ask for good heat and they were fully equipped capable of providing it! Next time I go in, I will do my best to remember that all I have to do to meet my flavor needs is but to ask!

The folks here are very good people, and they do a very good job, make very good food, and only charge a very good price.

If you want what you pay for, served by folks that want to give you what you pay for, in a place that's well maintained and loved by many, you can not go wrong by giving this location...

This Resturant is the ABSOLUTE BEST in Lawton when it comes to EVERYTHING about dining out at a Mexican Resturant!!! Undeniable, Undebatable!! Period!!💯 Let me share why!!! Greeting you💯 Seating You💯 Complementary chips, salsa& such💯. The friendly pre-hostess was actually right behind us with the chips& salsa before we were actually in our chairs! Loved it!!💯 And our host Hosea💯!!! Now Hosea was Excellent! He is a great asset to this resturant and YOUR dining experience!!💯 Hosea was courteous, friendly, & informative about the extensive array of food choices on the menu💯. He gave us extra time to enjoy the chips& salsa while we looked over the menu. We (my sister, neice& I) all ordered the Frieta Dinner. It came quickly, hot & sizzling!!!💯. The meat& veggies were grilled to perfection!! The SweetTea with lemon tasted homemade and was the perfect parring to our food. Let just say the food tasted so beyond great! You will be so full& very satisfied when you leave. They give you generous portions of hot, tasty, tender meat. The beans and rice!! OMG!!! I could go there just for beans🫘 & rice alone it's so delicious💯😋! If you have NEVER BEEN to Los Tres Amigos, you haven't truly experienced great Mexican food yet, I promise you haven't. The prices are very reasonable, the cleanliness💯, the atmosphere💯, the staff💯, the aroma of the food cooking😋 and when you eat it!!! 😋😋😋😋💥💯You will be back again and again...
