I've been a Sonic customer for over 40 years.
While I'll always be a Sonic patron in some way, such as for drinks and snacks, I greatly miss the Sonicburgers of years past. About the time they did away with No. 1, No. 2, etc. and all burgers became "Sonic Cheeseburgers", they started doing other things with the burger components and condiments.
Now, my beloved No. 2 burger has a thicker, preformed and relatively tasteless patty, thick pickle slices more suited in some upscale preppy joint, and an overall soul-less experience that makes me sad. And, it is painful to order since it's not a cheeseburger and doesn't conform to a button on the screen.
Even the hard, sweet peppermints that once went so well with a vanilla Coke are now soft, chalky and obviously cheaper.
All the while pricing is up like everything else, and I don't want to pay those prices for something that consistently disappoints.
BTW, to add insult to injury, I now seek out the Texas-based Dairy Queens for a true old fashioned burger. I wish my beloved Okie-based Sonic would revert to the burger recipe that made...
Read moreThe lady taking our order was extremely rude, and she was annoyed we were ordering anything more than one item. She refused to repeat our order to us to confirm if everything was correct (screen was broken).
The second lady who came on greeted us with "What?". We asked her to confirm our order (hotdog, chicken strips, burger). She sighed and repeated our order. The first thing we ordered, the hotdog, was missing. We also pointed out that the burger we ordered was missing something we asked for. She groaned at us, "What do you want it oooon?"
A third young lady brings us our food and drinks. The drinks are wrong, and she doesn't have the hotdog. We ask her where the rest of our order is, and she says "Well obviously it isn't here. Duh."
Overall, extremely rude, and I feel like we're lucky our food was overcooked rather than raw,...
Read moreWell I thought it was great service(even tipped my carhop). That was until I opened by bag and to my surprise my large mozzarella sticks were missing. Luckily I was still parked in stall 17 so I was saved from having to turn back around. I hit the button, informed the worker of my missing item, they rush it out within minutes to now find that I received 7 instead 8 sticks. Smh. I'm not going to be that petty and complain further, I see they are trying..but I would like to say slow down, breathe and just take the extra seconds it takes to make sure the orders are going out correctly. Trust me, customers would rather wait the extra time to get a correct order rather then waiting less just to...
