Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Le Mars

Let there be an oops on the last post. Thought I was reviewing the sioux city location. My apologies. Although I might add I have eaten at this Godfather's Pizza location a few times but it was many years ago. I do recall going with a group on a couple visits. Food was every bit as good as it always had been. Still worthy of the 5 stars even if it was 10-15 yrs ago and up in LeMars. Good little town, hard working, friendly people, all the things I consider valuable qualities. And to boot- the ice cream capital of the Midwest or world. Whatever you prefer. What not to do here is don't come to this small town and start running it down cause you'll find out real quick that isn'ta nice thing to do. Especially, if you're in the right ( or wrong) part of town or over eating a steak and a beer and decide to bad mouth some things. You'll be sent back to Sioux City or wherever you came from real quick. And they'll tell you keep the cowboy boot since it's stuck in your blue jeans and in your a$$. Thats a souvenir they call it. Love the little home town feel it has. Treated me well. Tipped well...

We drive from South Sioux City to LeMars to go to this location because their food is always great! *Broasted chicken that is well brined and crispy every time, pizza crust that is crisp even though it's original crust, not thin, potato wedges that are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, and the cheese sticks are cheesy and delicious too! * We have had some really disappointing experiences in Sioux City in general, especially with broasted chicken, Pizza Ranch drive thru has sold us chicken with the crust falling off sitting in a grease soaked box on 2 different occasions and for their prices that is ridiculous, not ever doing that again! Many restaurants could learn a lesson in quality from the LeMars Godfather's! Keep up...

I ordered buffet for myself and my girlfriend, you know, date night. I thought godfathers would be a good choice. Got to the buffet to grab the food, and it's terrible. Looks like things have been sitting out since shift change, the Mac and cheese was dryer than the hands on my old bus driver when I was in school, the pizza was all brown and nasty looking... I looked through the window at the workers and they're just happily talking and throwing food at each other. Me and my girl weren't the only people in there either... there was a family with to young kids... kids were being subject to eat this... I'm sorry... It's a one star...
