La Fiesta Charra — Restaurant in Le Mars

Ok, I feel so sad to write this about pretty much the only ok Mexican restaurant In Le Mars, but have to do it, honestly I feel that the food is not the best in flavor, I'm sure they can improve that a lot, but the worse I experienced In the restaurant was the customer service, have to share that I order ahead by phone, because I don't want to waste time waiting for my food, and they told me food will be ready In 15 min, I showed up after 30 minutes, and not only my food wasn't ready, but also they were rude. I was on the line to pay, and they send me to the side, I'm sure other businesses around know how to take care of customers, even juanitas restaurant. I don't recommend this business, for too many bad experiences with the personal working at this place and not original Mexican...

Had to ask them if they could cook my food on butter as vegetable really destroys my gut. Waiter agreed saying they could do it. I got served and are the food which tasted okay but it did not seem like butter. Asked the waiter if butter was used as agreed, he did not come back to the table and so I went to look for him to get the bill and ask one more time. Finally found him and he said the cooks had no answer to my question. So, I asked him to take a picture of the product of the "butter" used on the food and he agreed. He brought a picture of vegetable oil flavored butter. I do not know if it is just me but I wish he had observed and honor our agreement as my medical condition...

My 3rd time eating there. First two occasions were ok (nothing to write home about) but this time it was awful. I ordered 3 enchiladas (1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 pork.) Both our orders were covered in sauce, and I mean there was probably a shortage of sauce in LeMars they put so much on there. I scraped 2-3 cups of sauce off and started to eat them. The pork tasted burnt, the beef was ok and the chicken tasted funny. I left almost 2 of the 3 enchiladas on the plate and no one asked if everything was ok. He simply said "are you finished?"
