The wife and I are camping in Le Mars. So, we decided to stop by the local pizza house and have dinner. P's Pizza House did not disappoint! We started off with their spinach dip as an appetizer. I was a bit confused. When I got to around my 3rd chip, my mouth was feeling a little heat. It wasn't an "in your face heat". It was very subtle. But, I loved it! There wasn't any left when the waitress brought our main dishes! Highly recommend it! For the main course, I had their take on a jambalaya and my wife had the lobster fettuccine. The jambalaya was made with spaghetti noodles instead of rice. A bit weird for me but, it totally worked! I could probably drink the sauce they use. It was that good! Generous portions of chicken, shrimp, and sausage were also used. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sausage was amazing! My wife enjoyed her lobster fettuccine. Generous amounts of lobster were used. The sauce was very subtle but, creamy. While we waited for food, I enjoyed a nice cold 32oz Summer Shandy from their tap. We both tried another tap beer from a Knoxville, IA brewery. It was Belgian Blonde that was very tasty. Next time I will get a 32oz of it to really enjoy it! The facility was very clean. It is obvious the staff takes great care in keeping it that way. All staff wears masks but, they do not require patrons to do so. With all of the COVID stuff, I felt very safe...
Read moreFirst time trying this restaurant and I was not disappointed! Service was very prompt and friendly. They had a good selection of beers/cocktails, and many more menu options than just pizza! My husband and I did each order individual sized pizzas, though. He got one of the meat lover types and I got the margherita pizza. They were both very good, my husband's only complaint was that the Canadian bacon on his was a little bit fatty. The atmosphere was definitely the typical bar and grill style with plenty of TVs to watch March Madness. It was a tad bit chilly inside, so it would have been a little more enjoyable if it had been warmer. Overall, this was a great place to eat. I would definitely go back next time...
Read moreLiving in LeMars, we are very limited in the restaurant department so we eat at P's often. It's the best place to go for a laid back eating atmosphere. The food is good and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they always forget small changes in the meal (ie. When ordering wings we ask for bleu cheese and the wings are always brought out with the sauce from the menu). The last visit we had, it was saturday football so very busy, but i felt like we fell through the crack for service. We had to grab the attention of our server at least 3 different times and it took about 15 minutes of just sitting there waiting for our check even after telling her we were in a hurry and...
