typically everything is fine, pretty mid but i expect that from them. they skimp out on toppings, but the crust has always made up for it. sadly today is the first time ive ever been saddened by an order. they forgot my salad, which is not a big deal, i just wanted to call to see if i could get it tomorrow or get a refund for it, but when i call they dont answer and i can hear the plastic clicks of a phone being hung up. i found it strange so i called again, and again i hear someone deliberately picking up the phone to hang up the call again, and again, and again... i use to work for a pizza place, so it just seemed odd? like does this location not pick up orders through phone calls like most pizza places would? they cant even answer the phone in case a worker was hurt and needed to call the store? I once dropped my car keys into a lake making a delivery and had to call my store to pick me up, this is just so odd how they just answer my call to hang up and not say a word. im not mad at craig my delivery driver even though he probably forgot the salad, im upset at who ever is manning the inside of the establishment and keeps hanging up my calls in order to do whatever they want and not their job... so whoever usually works nights there on thursdays hopefully youre new, otherwise you need to learn working etiquette and how to answer the phone as someone who works in a pizza place. . . edit: my girlfriend decided to call on her phone in case they were avoiding my number. they did answer her call 🤦♀️ turns out theyve been out of salad, and are giving us credit for two for the inconvenience and to call the store when i place my next order, im worried they wont answer when i place my next order but we shall see. i wished they would have just left a little note on the receipt or letting me know whats up when i called them the first 11 times so all this could have...
Read moreNow this review will be in comparison to other pizza shops in the area local to League City... It is light years ahead of both Papa Johns, who screws up every single order every single time just about.. If not 1 thing, everything. It is alot better then Pizza Hut in the since it doesn't screw orders up as much either.. I ordered alot of Pizza last year getting settled back into Houston being a Wounded Warrior, trips to the store aren't good on my leg and carrying them in isn't that good on my arm.. If that explains more. Papa Johns Ive had requests to make the pizza cut into squares and the delivery guy showed up.. Had them cut in tiny slices like 2 pencils put together and basically threw it at me.. Didnt even ask for a tip.. I did put in the requests because they screwed it up about the last 4 times and Im sure thats why they responded that way. I wrote until they change management I will not be wasting my money there. This domino's has however alot of the time gone out of their way to make my experience a good one.. I have mentioned in the past that I am a wounded warrior.. so to bear with me.. Knock louder too etc cause of my artillery ears so on and so forth. Their nice, I enjoy them. I don't let stupid little mistakes get to me, we all human and were ordering fast food pizza. Don't expect a 100 to 200$ pizza catering service from them.. Just expect down to earth young people making pizza's abiding by their company's standard. Anyways, thanks for being good people when I needed it. I passed up a free pizza multiple times now from Papa John simply because of the experience Ive had with...
Read moreI have eaten at Domino's many times in North Carolina and in California. Both were amazing! However, this is the worst store I have ever ordered from. Usually they took 30 minutes at other stores and delivered good food. I have ordered from this store about 5 times now, and each time the order is messed up in some way or they don't bring the drinks or dipping sauces. It also has taken about an hour every time for the food to get to me. I'm under two miles away and there is never traffic. I have even asked "lot of deliveries piled up?" Thinking that it was due to another of running around. But the answer has always been no. So they must like to deliver the pizzas cold. Another thing that is annoying, I will check on the tracker app, and it says they are checking the pizza for quality and perfection. Only 20 minutes later does it switch to delivered. And it is not a delay with the app or the pizza would have gotten here before it changed. Why does it take 20 minutes to check it? Obvious thought is that they messed up so they are fixing it, however this has happened every time I have ordered from this store, which makes me believe they are completely inept. Anyways, for some reason the foods taste doesn't match up to what I remember from some of the other stores I have ordered from. I like Domino's but I'm not going to be ordering anymore...
