From the exterior it looked like just another hole in the wall establishment. Once I walked in I realized I was right. The place looked soulless and almost empty, but that didn't stop me from ordering. I saw enough of their pictures online and it built a hunger for a burger. I ordered and waited patiently before realizing my $15 burger didn't come with fries, nor a drink but we were warned in advance that there was no ice for the can drinks that were not included in the meal. So I paid another $4 for Sams/Costco frozen fries. That was after walking to the gas station next door to get drinks. Shortly after returning my burger, fries, and Bang Bang shrimp bowl arrived. Shrimp bowl was a pretty good sized bowl. Quite a few nice sized shrimp with rice garnished with green onions. It definitely tasted good. Not bad for $15. The fries were on another level. A level i wouldn't want much to do with, they were 100 percent frozen bag fries. And for the $4 they cost, the tiny order was not worth it. And now on to what I thought would be the star of the show the burger, it was not bad but it wasn't worth $15. It was a 5 at best on a 1 to 10 scale. Didn't have any spectacular taste that makes you want to tell the world. It was caked with mayo and thats all I could really taste. I expected something much better than 5 guys or even Freddy's. I don't recommend this establishment. Please understand that this is a real review from someone that does not frequent this place often nor do I have any ill will towards them. I wish them the very best but I will be honest and say I'd pass on this place. Theres so many great burger joints out there that are doing it so much...
Read moreSo, me and my son tried this place today for the first time. Called in order. The lady that took my order was super cheerful and very friendly. I wasn't sure about everything and she gave any info I needed. We live in the neighborhood behind Durbs so the food was perfect temperature when we got home. I had the Cowboy burger and chopped cheese sandwich for later lol. My son had the smashburger. We had tots and fries. Im not sure what my expectations were but I've heard nothing but great things about this place. The food was a solid 10/10! Like, without a doubt. My wife and son agree that the smashburger was the best burger they had ever eaten. The cowboy burger, for me, was the most i have enjoyed a burger in a very long time. I'm eating the chopped cheese tonight so I will have something else to enjoy. I absolutely highly recommend trying this place out! Food, prices, service, ...
Read moreThis is a clean and quaint little burger spot that really hits it out of the park. Friendly staff and great decor. All that said, the burgers and fries are VERY good. Me and the wife had the two Cowboy burgers, the Elote hotdog and shared an order of fries. Fries were perfect and the smash burger (2x4oz) was seasoned very well (not to much), had great bacon, cheese, onion rings, jalapenos, bbq sauce all on a toasted bun. Elote hot dog was delish! Prices are not bad in the $-$$ range, for fresh handmade food with great toppings, you can't beat this! I really like small family run operations like this especially when they do such a good job all around! Cudos to Durb's Burgers, looking forward to...
