So this was our first time coming here, and we're definitely never coming back. Not great food to begin with. Most of what we got was definitely made from frozen: frozen, understuffed ravioli that were reheated (and burnt), they didn't have any tiramisu ready, so we got a frozen one straight out of the freezer. Pizza was fine, but not really worth it. The spinach artichoke dip was good.
We ordered a create your own calzone with pizza sauce, ricotta and their cheese blend. The receipt and the box said "create your own: rico", but it came with pepperoni and some sort of deli meat in it (doesn't work for the vegetarian who ordered it). Seems like a simple mistake, given that they have a ricotta calzone that has meat in it; we figured it was just a mix up and they'd have another one sent out to us. We ordered carry out and found the mistake after we'd gotten home, so of course, they'd just have a replacement brought to us. Nope. The woman we spoke to on the phone was snippy from the moment she answered and just had a bad attitude. She confirmed that they entered our order in as the ricotta calzone (despite what was on the receipt). She said they could have a new calzone delivered to us.... in 2 hours, maybe longer. So we had to drive back to fix their mistake, and wait for the employee to figure out how to comp the calzone (took the poor guy 12 minutes), and the manager dodged the whole interaction. No one apologized, and we wasted a bunch of time to get okay, but not great food. It's edible, but don't expect anything fresh or interesting and definitely don't expect...
Read moreI was so hungry from after having a long dreadful day and Googled Sarpinos close to me since I was at the Waterwalk Hotel. I drove their as fast as I legally could and had 30 min before they closed. I felt bad ordering so late but my hunger took over my emotions and I had to get a large Sarpino's Thin Crust Pepperoni Jalepeno Pizza. What I love about Sarpino's is that everything is Fresh and made to order so your definitely getting what you paid for. The staff were cleaning since it was close to closing time but they still got my Pizza made fast and was super amazing . The staff were friendly and the guy who made my Pizza I could tell he was hurting from it look like his back but he was a Trooper and got right on my order. Sarpino's came in clutch and I know when I go back to Leawood I will be going to this Sarpinos location again because I was very impressed with their service and quality of their Pizza. I loved the music they were playing as well. Sarpino's, you are the King of Pizzas in the metro area in my opinion. Keep up the good work. I long for a Sarpino's in my city and really longing for a slice of heaven right about now, only from Sarpino's Pizzeria...
Read moreI ordered Chicken Alfredo around 8:45 from this location. They informed me it would be a wait time for delivery of an 1hr and 30 mins. Almost 4hrs later my food was delivered to me. But what bothered me other then waiting until almost past midnight wasn't the worst problem for me. It was the way the girl on the phone spoke to me offering zero apology for the absurd wait time or the fact that my dinner was arriving to my door so absurdly late in the night. Before the driver arrived I gave the location a call around 11:30 pm and told the girl I would just rather cancel my order then wait around all night for a stranger to knock on my door and wake me out of my sleep.....to which she laughed and again issued no apology. I'm not someone who normally complains because I understand these drivers have a lot of stops and weather isn't always permitting. But the least you can do is offer an apology in an attempt at good customer service and professionalism. I guess that is too much to ask for this location. I want to add the driver- was very kind. I don't hold him accountable for the...
