Great food. But a few too many cancelled/lost orders for no reason. I waited 3 hours for a small order of some calamari and the delivery got mysteriously lost. I ordered the same thing the next day and suddenly I was out of their delivery zone and had the order cancelled on me when I've gotten food from Nicola's plenty of times before. Like I said, great food (albeit overpriced), but the customer doesn't seem to mean anything and can get screwed over for no apparent reason.
They have forgotten parts of my order before. They have given me different items in my orders before because they "ran out" of what I ordered.
The icing on the cake is that they're lying to Slice about changing their delivery zone "two days ago" from the time of posting this because I made an order yesterday that they did NOT give that excuse for. That was the 3 hour wait that yielded me no food.
I'm 7.1 miles away from them and they have the AUDACITY to say "oh sorry, we've changed our delivery zone to 7 miles!"
Not sure what kind of person gets off on treating...
Read moreOrdered through slice at 530 - at 7 we called the restaurant to see if the order had been picked up yet. A woman told us the order was picked up and would be arriving shortly. I then reached out to slice to see if they could locate the driver only to find out that the woman at Nicolas lied and they actually were still making the order and that the order would leave in a few minutes. We asked for a full refund and to cancel the order instead - no response. At 7:40 the order showed up, wasn’t corrected, and all nicolas offered was a $10 credit… even though the order was wrong. Extremely late. And we were lied to. If the woman at nicolas told us the truth that the order wasn’t even ready we would have just asked to cancel the order then but instead had to deal with this through slice thinking it was the driver being lost. Bad management bad...
Read moreI went there for the first time today. I called in my order ahead for a half-plain, half-pepperoni pie. When I got there I told them what I ordered. They thought I ordered a full pepperoni pie so they told me it wasn’t ready yet. Then the guy behind the counter and the cook were whispering something to each other then they grabbed a pie that had already been sitting there and told me it was mine. When I got home it was still a full pepperoni pie. I prefer plain pizza, the pepperoni was for my fiance so I was disappointed in my first experience with Nicola’s pizza. I just moved up here a year ago and wanted to try it out but now I know I should just stick to Frank’s Pizza right...
