My husband and I have gone here a handful of times. BUT we haven't been in awhile. They were out of the filet mignon bummer 😕 but they had a special for ribeye. Which was only 2$ cheaper than the filet...we took a chance on it as they have always been delicious not matter what we've had there. Unfortunately it was awful. I think they must have gotten a "deal" on these ribeyes and opted for those instead paying the money for the regular filets mignon. They were sooooo chewy. My husband couldn't even cut them with the knife provided. We both had to spit out so much of it because it was not edible. I get better ribeye from target. I have no idea what we were served last night but this experience made us never want to go back. The staff and servers were awesome. The atmosphere was peaceful. Jamie gave ammmazing recommendations and made the whole experience so much fun! Carl was warm, welcoming, and genuine! I wanted to eat here every night! I had the catch of the day one night that was pan seared salmon with a strawberry salsa, with risotto and grilled asparagus. Salmon is my favorite fish, and I had never tried risotto. This meal was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING, and I'll be dreaming about it for many days to come! Our server was above and beyond: patient with us, carefully watching to see when we were ready to move from apps to the main course, and making sure that we never had to wait longer than expected for anything we ordered. The food was great -- we had the sugarcane skewered shrimp to start, and it was fantastic. My partner opted for pasta, and I had the schnitzel -- both were delicious! Our drinks were also fantastic. The bar and the kitchen are both on point, the service was great, and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of what you get.
