Not what we expected. It's a half restaurant half store. The food was mediocre. Perhaps if I had ordered something else I would have liked it but this particular dish was the worst Mexican dish that I ever tried. I believe it was called enchilada de mole. The chicken enchiladas where in a chocolate mole sauce. I'm not sure if I missed that in the description or if it wasn't in there but it was horrible tasting. I usually love chicken enchiladas. I had to eat the chicken out of the middle and couldn't eat the tortillas with the sauce on them. The chicken had no seasoning so it was rather plain but I mixed it with the refried beans and rice that came with it. Their version of what would normally be pico de gallo was shredded lettuce with a slice of tomato on top. I guess for a mexican dish it overall lacked flavor other than the nasty flavor of the sauce. I also ordered a side of guacamole which was rather good although it could have been blended more to make a more consistent flavor. It was chunky and you could taste individual flavors. Over all it just seemed slapped together with short cuts taken that degrade the quality of the food....

The brisket one was better, however I'm pretty sure it was pork and not beef brisket. Either way it was delicious, had a delicate flavor that went well with side sauces. The staff was friendly and the setting was nice. It's located in a small grocery store. I would go back and try...
Read moreThe gentleman working there was incredibly kind and welcoming, and our food came out quickly. After your meal, you can wander through the store and discover their shelves full of unique imported goods. We tried the pastor (pork) tacos which were tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned and the carne asada entrée, which was juicy and full of flavor. If you’re in the area, skip the fast casual spots and treat yourself here instead...
