Taco John's — Restaurant in Lebanon

Taco John's has always been great to me, let me just say that. It was kinda my safe place, for reasons I'm not gonna get into in a Google maps review, and are entirely irrelevant.... But the closest one to me is almost 100 miles away, and the fact that I make the trip speaks VOLUMES about what I think about them and their food. This location, just like every other, has never gotten my order wrong. And if you haven't had them yet, the potato Olés are TO DIE FOR, omg. Their food always tastes extremely fresh, with super crisp lettuce, and sour cream that's nice and cold. The meat is of excellent quality, and the soft shells are nice and... Well.... Soft. I've always had great customer service here, and last time was no different. I had a rather large order, bringing my friends along for the ride, and even with everything I ordered, they didn't seen bothered by a large order, and got everything correct. On a final note... If you think Taco John's is not worth the trip, just because it's attached to a gas station,...

Definitely not good service. Food is good but I won’t be back. Went to go through the drive through (Sunday around 5) and nobody would answer the speaker. I even asked if anyone was there and ended up pulling around to the window. I tried looking inside and didn’t see anyone but I waited a few minutes at the window just in case. I then decided I would try going in and see if anyone was there because their hours do say they are open until 10 PM. Pulled around to the front and the open sign was off and a chain hanging between the restaurant and the gas station. I was a bit confused because I could see someone inside sitting in a booth eating so I am not sure if it was an employee or someone who just disregarded the blocked off area with the chain. If your business says open to 10 and you have to close for some reason, I get it. But they definitely should’ve had signs in the drive through area to let customers know. That was a big...

Outstanding. Stopped here shortly before closing. Unfortunately the lobby was closed and only the drive-thru was open. I was driving a semi truck so the drive-thru wasn't an option. Disappointed and hungry we went back to the truck and looked to see where else we could grab something to eat. No where close by. Called the store from out front and spoke to Cory and explained our situation. Cory and crew saved the day. Super friendly and helpful. They were only too happy to take our order and get us some hot, fresh, and delicious food. And fast. Not only that but told us anytime we come through the area, they'd be happy to take care of us. As we run coast to coast all the time and frequently on I-44, this will now be a regular stop for us.
