Wendy's — Restaurant in Leetsdale

Wendy's normally has good food, service and atmosphere. Wish I could say the same for the Wendy's is Sewickley, the bathroom was atrocious, dining room floor was dirty and hasn't looked like it had detail attention done in about a month ( could use a good deck scrubbing, the beverage dispenser in the dining room was a disaster covered in over spray. The young lady that waited on my daughter and I for lunch was friendly but differently seemed to be somewhere mentally then at work. From the customer point of view the whole staff including the Male manager on shift all looked high on something with the manager looking more out of it than the crew. Ordered a biggie bag with a frosty for my daughter and 2 junior bacon cheeseburgers for my self, got my daughter's food while I had to wait for my food because everyone just left the line other than the woman that waited on me and the woman in the drive-thru, finally the manager reappeared from back to make the sandwich, apparently there is no cross training for employees at this store because they all stood there like deer in headlights waiting for the manager to make the food, no uniform except for a team tee shirt, they all had sweat pants on, the young gentleman on the fry station had his pants down exposing his blue underwear for the whole front counter to see, no hair restraints, however I will say the manager was in uniform. No name tag's so I couldn't even tell you who anyone was. This isn't going to deter my family from eating at Wendy's this time but differently will not be returning to the location again unless I stop at the local hospital for a...

The two young girls working counter on 7/10 are absolutely disrespectful and ignorant. I walk in the doors, no one smiles they all just stare. The girl with the braids is screaming about someones finger and then calls the other girl stupid. A manager comes around and the girl talks to him as if he is dumb, no respect. She takes my order, no personality. She turns around and pretends to sneeze on the manager, he told her to not act like that in front of customers, and said she needs to grow up. I’m glad he did that. They put my food out in 3 bags and two large drinks as if I have more than 2 hands. Can I get a drink carrier??? I ask and of course the action of getting a drink carrier was just sooooo tedious there had to be attitude when getting one. My cheeseburger was made wrong, no apology or anything, just grabbed it out of my hand. Then when I asked for a bag with handles to carry my three bags and two drinks, again that was just such a tedious task it had to be done with attitude. I have worked in fast food for all of my high school life. Yes it sucks, but I never gave attitude and I always provided a happy service with a smile on my face, even if I didn’t want to. This experience was trash, the only good thing was the manager telling the girl that she was wrong. If you hate your job, go somewhere else. If you’re a high school student, this is a job where you can find your service voice and learn character and work ethic. I can tell these girls are exhausting to work with. Well, you've managed to revert back to worst Wendy's in the area. New employee took my order and clearly had more sense than the employee training her. I ordered a bowl of Chile to go, THAT'S ALL! New employee wanted to fill my order, trainer forbade her from doing so. 15 minutes later, still no Chile, I asked for a refund and my order gets moved to the top of the queue and I get my Chile. I actually know something about fast food management having been a Domino's Pizza franchisee, and can tell you without reservation that the attitude of the training employee is reflective of the store management that puts indicators like drive thru times above taking care of customers standing right in front of them.

I'd reviewed this store 3 years ago when it appeared they had finally figured it out. Obviously that was short lived.

Something has changed at this location. This used to be the worst Wendy's in the whole area. There has been substantial improvement since they remodeled the store. Must be new...
