Lucky Bamboo Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lemon Township

I’m giving a one-star review because this restaurant needs an allergen list. As a person with a food allergy, I am aware that Chinese restaurants often have peanuts in-house because of their Kung Pao chicken so I steer clear away from that. So, I order a lunch portion of bourbon chicken and I guess with every lunch, they include an egg roll. Egg rolls are usually harmless as they normally have some type of meat, cabbage, carrots, garlic, etc. No….this place puts peanuts in the egg rolls. I don’t know if it’s bits of peanuts or a peanut sauce but it’s in there. Went into anaphylactic shock within 1 bite of it. Had to go to the emergency room and get treated. I think they deserve this 1 star because allergy to peanuts is the most common food allergy. To serve every entree during lunch with an item you put the #1 food allergen in, you NEED to disclose that. The rest of my food looked and smelled really good but I was unable to eat it due to the reaction. Please disclose on your menu where you include allergens. Or include an allergen list. I am sure I will not be the only one to experience this...

My wife and I have always driven by this place but never tried it as we've always had our usual spot to go for takeout. We finally got around to trying it out...I was speechless after the first bite. Everything was so incredibly fresh tasting. Being new to the area, I couldn't believe that this gem of a place has been in our backyard the entire time. Needless to say, we are going to be frequent customers whenever we don't feel like cooking. My wife considers herself a bit of a "lo mein connoisseur" and even she was blown away by how great the food was, especially the lo mein. Whilst writing this review, I've worked up an appetite and plan on stopping over to get some food later today. Lucky Bambo is some of the greatest Asian food I've ever had, I highly recommend...

Ordered the bourbon chicken lunch special, teriyaki beef stick, and a egg drop soup. The bourbon chicken was pretty good nice cuts of chicken and a good flavor to it. Rice was pretty plain but was good and moist went well with the bourbon chicken sauce. Could use some more egg pieces in it and a little more flavor but nothing to complain about. The beef sticks were pretty amazing good tender cuts of meat and very flavorful good beef sticks are hard to find and these ones you can't go wrong with. Egg drop soup was decent not the best I've had but by far not the worst. Would highly recommend trying this place if your looking for a solid lunch or dinner for the money. Compliments to the chef for making my whole meal enjoyable your efforts are...
