Super Wok — Restaurant in Lemon Township

We stopped here around 4pm for a small meal and were quite pleased.

The outside of the building is quite different from what I expected, but when you enter it definitely looks like a typical Chinese buffet with a good amount of seating.

A young man gave us paper menus which surprised me for a moment as I was expecting it to be a buffet, but apparently that's not all day so we ordered a la carte.

I ordered the egg drop soup, my husband ordered the hot and sour soup, and we ordered a large beef & broccoli minus the rice.

When my soup came out it was in a take out bowl without the lid. I admit that threw me off for a moment, but as soon as I tasted the soup I didn't care! That was in the top 3 egg soups I've ever had. A little seasame oil flavor, not too thick, delicious! My husband said his soup was good too.

The beef and broccoli was pretty good too. The broccoli was fresh and my husband said he really liked the thicker sauce.

This place is usually pretty decent and fast... however, on Thursday, July 28, 2022 a friend and I ordered our normal dishes and had a bad experience in terms of getting ill. I cannot say with 100% certainty that we got sick from the food here, but we had very similar symptoms and eating the food here was the only thing we could figure out that we both had in common. I normally have had good experiences here and typically the food is fast and good, so I hesitate saying anything... curious if anybody else had a similar experience on the same day. You should try it and judge for yourself... I have not had a bad experience prior to this date, but I am curious if anybody else had any issues this date. Came for buffet. Out of half the items and most was cold. Came in at 1:10pm. Higher priced than the Mainville location. Drink is not included. Mainville had better quality, smaller bar. Pretty empty. Some items were pretty good.

Went back with a co worker to give a second chance. It was even worse. Most of the items were missing. We went at noon on a Friday. It was hard to get two plates of food. We were there for almost an hour and they still had only added half a tray of chicken. We mentioned the lack of food when paying, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. I was embarrassed to take someone to there to eat. Will not be back. They should just close the buffet....
