I can't believe I haven't reviewed The Clubhouse Sports Grille yet, so here we go! This is one of my favorite places to eat, it's a bit of a drive from my house so we only get a chance to get out there once in a blue moon, but when we can I always choose this over anyplace else. Clubhouse has a wide variety of food to choose from, there isn't a thing on the menu that I've had that is even a little mediocre. It's all awesome. We will talk about tonight though. Came in after a visit to Jungle Jim's with the kids. I knew exactly what I wanted, The Walter! My favorite sandwich ever anywhere. We opted for some fried pickles for an appetizer, which was an excellent choice as they came out super fresh, hand dipped and very plentiful. The seasoning was spot on, and the spicy ranch was really good. Not a single pickle was left after we got done with it. I wish I had got a photo of that but we dove in so fast I didn't have a chance. My oldest chose the beef and noodles, it was a very generous plate, large pieces of beef over very nice egg noodles in a slightly spicy creamy sauce. They let me have a bite and it was divine. My husband chose the blackened chicken Alfredo, it was a really nice size portion, with a piece of garlic bread. He said it was delicious! My youngest opted for the bacon cheeseburger with fries, given how fast she devoured it, I would say it was a hit. Now onto my Walter. It's a blackened chicken sandwich, on garlic bread, with provolone, onion straws, Cole slaw and this crazy olive pimento sauce. I opted for that on the side as I usually do, but I always end up putting it on the sandwich. This sandwich is a religious experience, it is huge, full of flavor and honestly so good. The Saratoga chips with BBQ sauce that come with it are so good and just make it that much better. I was only able to eat half, but now I have half for later! My husband was jealous and ordered one to go, so there's that. He knows! The service was spot on, our drinks were never empty, and our server was super friendly. Clubhouse is a place that I really enjoy going to. My only criticism is there isn't one in Kettering. Can you guys work on that?

We will not be eating here anymore. They are charging a 3% surcharge for every non cash payment you use including debit cards. See attached pictures. We argued about being charged for a debit card and the manager said it's a decision the owners made and there's nothing she could do about it. She could have not charged the fee for the debit card and said moving forward please understand we charge this fee. They've increased their prices and also charge card fees now. This is the cost of doing business especially in a world that's going cashless. Seems like they are only concerned about profiting themselves. My food was cold after waiting forever for it and they did nothing but warm it up. Service was extremely slow and she was not friendly and rolled her eyes when we asked her for stuff. This was one of our favorite places to eat but not anymore.

Stopped here for an early Saturday lunch with a close friend. I was extremely pleased with the diverse range of choices contained in the menu. I was feeling a little adventurous and tried the deep fried pickles. To my surprise, they were absolutely delicious! I had never eaten Saratoga fries either and found them to be very tasty also. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable with families, working men, and couples enjoying everything from an appetizer and beer to heaping plates of varied menu selections. We had a courteous, patient and informative server that took the time to explain the daily specials and answer any questions we had. Our food arrived fresh, hot and cooked to perfection in generous serving sizes. I brought home what I couldn't finish and had enough left for lunch the following day! Our drinks were never less than half full at all times with our server remaining on her toes with all the tables in our area. The prices are a little steep but well worth the extra expense for the quantity and quality. I look forward to returning very...

Alright, my opinion as I just moved here. First.. plastic cups in a clubhouse and we are paying a good amount of money for that drink is seemingly becoming disrespectful. Of course it is easier to pitch instead of wash but enough already with plastic within the clubhouse. And charging with each splash of soda for each drink and being told “Sir, it’s like this everywhere!” Ridiculous! It is not! Lower the price to what comes in plastic and charge accordingly as if we are watching a volleyball game somewhere at a sports bar instead of a Golf clubhouse We come to have lunch/dinner to have a different experience and are willing to pay but get plastic in return. Enough with we aren’t staffed, enough with nonsense. Close down and reopen when you can give a clubhouse experience. With all do respect, enough with complacency regarding covid and step up . You all are choosing to be there so make it good again or close until you can or change what you charge us. You all need to step...
