Ordered the deep dish with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. There was more sauce than toppings. So much sauce that the cheese wasn't melted at all. I mean, I've never seen so much sauce on one pizza. The crust was great. I will probably try a hand tossed in the future, but I will avoid the Chicago deep dish. I expected more after reading the reviews. I'm just disappointed. Also, what is the difference between the brownies and killer brownies? Ordered killer brownies, got run of the mill looking brownies, but they were warm, gooey, and chocolatey. ETA: Fair about the Chicago deep dish having a lot of sauce, but it shouldn't be mostly sauce, and the cheese should not be cold and unmelted. The flavor was ok. I'm old, I've had Chicago deep dish before elsewhere. Keep the amount of sauce the same, fine, please be fair with other toppings and cook it enough so it's warm all the way through. That's all I'm saying. Still willing to give your hand...

I ate late lunch at the Hangry Hornet yesterday and it was good. Had the steak hoagie and ate there. The whole restaurant appeared to be clean. The cashier/cook/dishwasher/etc was friendly and service was super-fast. Only about 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door until my food was ready. The steak hoagie was an ordinary sandwich, like you'd get from Dominos or Donatos, but it really hit the spot.

As other reviewers have said, this is mostly a takeout place. It only has two tables. One table seats 4 people and the other table only seats two. I gave this place four stars for atmosphere, even though it only really deserves three, because the restroom was clean and well-stocked. Unlike the Speedway gas station I'd stopped at before lunch. (What the heck has happened to Speedway? They used...

Stopped in today, first time to pick up a pizza for dinner tonight! The sweet garlicy scent coming from the box on my drive home almost made me pull over so I could enjoy 1 piece before I pull into the driveway and hand the pizza off to the family to be devoured! 🤣 Amber & Millie have the best customer service and were very helpful and friendly when assisting with my order. The pizza came out swiftly and the taste is superb! There is definitely a secret to their sauce! 💕 I love how Hangry Hornet is so conveniently located off 75 giving me an easy out not to make dinner! 🤫 I'm excited to try your pasta next or maybe that Philly Cheese Steak Pizza! I must recommend the Deluxe Pizza with the hand tossed crust. 🍕 Can't wait for...

We ordered the breakfast pizza. It took about 15 minutes to get it and it was very, very hot when it came out. They have a couple tables and bottled pop, so we ate there, but it's clearly more of a take-out place. The pizza had a lot of sauce, which was nice, though I would've liked that sauce to have more pepper. It was hard to taste the other toppings besides the sauce, but overall it was one of the better breakfast pizzas I've had.

Quality and accuracy have dropped as of late. We would ask for marinara and get cheese sauce. Or no sauce at all. Mistakes happen. But last night was the final straw. The Philly pizza was raw in the middle. Straight up dough. Someone is going to get sick. I’m not sure how this was sent out the door. Take and bake probably isn’t a bad idea but those prices are generally lower and not offered through delivery.

Hangry Hornet makes the best bar pie style cauliflower crust pizza I've ever had! There are so many air pockets in it. Who knew cauliflower could rise so much. The crust isn't just thin crunchy cauliflower like some other places have. It has thickness and a soft texture but with a crunch from the bottom layer. The sweet sauce and plenty of cheese seal the deal. Great cauliflower pizza! I'll be back.
