Tres Amigos — Restaurant in Lemon Township

IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE WHEN YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT GO ELSEWHERE. Jerry the owner/manager is extremely rude. I was sitting down to have a business meeting in this establishment waiting for my family to come to order the client that I was having the meeting with was sitting down with me. We hadn't ordered anything because we were in the middle of the meeting when we were approached by Jerry and told to leave. They were not busy at the time of the meeting or anything at all there was no line and with the attitude that I got i can see why. I have been to the restaurant a lot of time for business meetings as well as with my family before. Spent plenty of money with them on food and drinks. The food isnt even that great but i did like most of the staff. This was a horrible experience I will never revisit this place and I will make sure others that I know try not to as well. Acapulco in Lebanon will do just fine or the other one in Lebanon. I will purposely drive to West Chester or Mason just to avoid tgis place. I heard rumors of Jerry being rude to others and I never believed it because my waiters and waitresses were always so nice to me. I do now believe it to be true. One bad experience is all it takes. Food was amazing. But the screaming soccer team yelling at the top of their lungs on both ends of the restaurant ruined the entire night and made my nephew and niece very fussy. My sisters food was wrong and came out wrong twice and she didn’t get to eat until we were all almost done with our dinners.

After I asked to speak to one of the “managers” the lady I was speaking to said she was one. After telling her my sister had a bad experience with her order and the service she said nothing and did nothing to correct it. I then mentioned that maybe her food was wrong because the server might not have been able to hear because of the screaming/drunk soccer teams. She then responds with “well I can’t go over there and ask them to be quiet”, we’ll yes ma’am, that’s exactly what you do as the acting “manager”

Tres Amigos

Stopped by Tres Amigos in Monroe Oh. yesterday for a late lunch, first time visiting and was pretty impressed.

The restaurant

The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere festive but not overly so. The music was nice and not needlessly loud.

The food

I ordered Pollo con Chorizo which is a favorite dish for me. The dish was well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Portion size was very close to perfect for a hungry guest and was a good value for what it cost me.

The people

People can make or break any business, you could serve the best food available but if the service is bad folks will never forget.

My server was Juanita, Juanita was friendly and attentive without hovering. She welcomed me at the door like she was welcoming back an old friend. She checked on me several times while I was eating and thanked me for visiting when I left. Juanita turned a good late lunch into a truly great dining experience.
