I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zeny's Filipino Cuisine in Lemoore, CA, and I must say, it was an experience worth every bite. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest of welcomes, which immediately made me feel at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a simple yet charming decor that lets the food be the star of the show.
The menu at Zeny's is a true celebration of Filipino culture, offering a wide array of traditional dishes that are both authentic and delicious. I started with the lumpia, and it was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Each bite took me back to the traditional Filipino flavors I remember from my childhood. The pancit was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of noodles, vegetables, and tender meat that left me wanting more.
But the highlight of my meal was the chicken adobo. It was cooked to perfection, with the chicken so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The rich, tangy sauce was the perfect complement, and I found myself savoring every last bite. Paired with a side of garlic rice, it was a meal that felt both comforting and satisfying.
What truly sets Zeny's Filipino Cuisine apart, though, is the genuine care and passion that is evident in every dish. You can tell that this is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where Filipino traditions and flavors are lovingly preserved and shared with the community. If you're looking for a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine in the Central Valley, Zeny's is the place to be. I can't wait to return and explore more...
Read moreFilipino cuisine, with a cafeteria/soup kitchen style ordering system. You walk-in, tell the server which food items you want (which are all placed in front of you, behind a glass shield, like at chipotle ), they have a menu up with prices on single items and plates. Although the prices may look reasonable on the menu, they can add up, but not too bad for fresh food. They are pretty quick, it's usually 1 woman manning the front. One of the ladies is more friendlier than the other, I prefer to see her if I go actually...the other one kind of looks a lil judgmental (just my opinion). They do have restrooms in the back. They also sell pastry like goods sweet corn cake wrapped in leaves, puto and Ube puto. Their food always tastes fresh when i go, but I do get the same thing every time I go, that is chicken/pork kebab, pancit, white rice, lil mini pork sausages, and lumpia. They are very reserved when it comes to giving out the sweet and sour dipping sauce for the lumpia, even if you buy 12 pcs, they only want to give you like 2 sauces and tell you to buy a whole bottle of the sauce. Their puto, sometimes will have like condensation, moisture in the packaging, and because the date of when they were packaged isn't labeled in the container, I stay away from those ones if I see that. Parking right in front, I usually never have issues with parking. You can dine in if you'd like, but I don't, i take my food to go. They also sell drinks and other...
Read moreI absolutely recommend a visit here. I was visiting from out of state, and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I'm probably going to get most of the dish names wring, but I tried lumpia, pancit canton pork adobo, pineapple pork ribs, chicken curry dish, a clue of sausage like chorizo, and a rice cake. From the moment I stepped in I was greeted so kindly, and the employee(who I wish I wrote her name down when I asked her, because she was so patient) answered my many questions about the dishes.
The meats taste so tender, and juicy they all have their own distinct flavor as if they were cooked and simmered for hours in their seasonings. They sell soda cans for about .90 a can, and their dishes are between 11.00 and 15.00 this is such a nice little restaurant you can dine in,...
